Cat in need

Site Update

Update: Fire Deja (#1163) has contacted the shelter but lives in California. They can hold the cat until tonight. Slash is willing to cover the cost to ship the cat, but we need a Florida person to actually go in TODAY and adopt the cat so that he can be transported to Deja.

M-M-Mini + LizzyLiz (#567) has an urgent message to Florida Aywasians:

Do you know anyone who lives near Tampa Bay, Florida who could adopt a cat? There's a really sweet black cat that's due to be killed in a few hours if he can't find a home or enough pledges or a rescue.

His info:

6/6 SIGNED OFF FOR EUTH!!! ARGUS WILL BE EUTHANIZED EARLY IN THE MORNING! If you can adopt, adopt-to-rehome, or rescue, you MUST email [email protected] BEFORE 9AM with the words DO NOT EUTH and the Animal ID# in the subject line (serious adopters and rescues only). Include you name and contact information and let the shelter know you can pick up the cat tomorrow. MUST BE PICKED UP TOMORROW!! You can also try calling the shelter starting at 8AM at 813-744-5660 to make sure your email was seen.

Near virginia buckroe beach behind a dumpster i found a black cat and tabby cat laying there. 1 of them had half of a ear. Tho we brang my dog and the sign said no pets aloud. We were hoping to take them to a shelter but we had something important to do. Has anyone else seen these cats behind a dumpster near a restaurant? I'm thinking the cats had already moved somewhere else or died.

"they do not answer the phone on the weekends" ...freakin' PEACHY - then why schedule a euth/emergency adopt for a Saturday? will monitor the bread I cast on the waters and try to keep you posted.

<3 If I lived near there, I'd gladly foster the cat. If the shelter allowed it, I'd give pay the shelter to delay the euthanization.

I just took a close look at the photo - what about the OTHER kitten (looks like a calico) in there with him?

By the time they get my message, it'll probably be too late.

We're in St. Petersburg but we already have 5 cats - one that looks just like this one. I hope you find someone fast!

the effort is now up to 5 sites and counting...there must be SOMEONE who can at least foster. Plus the donations - and publicity - coming in will hopefully convince them to wait a few days. Are there any other area shelters (preferably no-kill) that he and his sister could be transferred to?

The other one looks more like a brown tabby. But yeah, what's gonna happen to that one?
