Teo Eggs

We've finally figured out what we want to do with Teo Eggs! Like we said before, we decided that a random event was going to determine the owners of Teo Eggs (as opposed to breeding and adoption center stalking, as then everyone could have a chance).

To prevent people from auto-refreshing or cheating to get Teos, which was our main issue with them being a pure chance random event considering it'd cause a lot of lag, we decided that one teo egg will be given out by the site at 6:00 PM every day. All you have to do is be online at that time and the script could randomly choose you to send the Teo Egg event to.

Good luck! There are sixty five Teo sitting in the queue right now so a new one will go out at 6:00 PM for quite a while, and we'll restock them as needed.

Ecto � Frost (#47422) - I don't know why but I always notice when you win things oO I don't think we've ever really said more than a few words to each other in passing, which makes it more amusing XD

IJskoningin (#56630) - I think when you have a melting pot of so many different (and sometimes conflicting) personalities sometimes a few folks are going to rub each other the wrong way, so like all sites we have our moments but it mostly blows over. And no need to apologise for your English! I wouldn't have known it wasn't your first language if you hadn't said ^^

Eveglori (#2775) I can see you truly feel I made some horrible mistake in not properly wording/putting my question into context. I do not feel asking a legitimate question to a programmer was some awful mistake where I attacked you and called you names. My question was unclear, but not an attack.

I agree "killjoy� was unwarranted because I asked a question about how the contest worked. You are really one of a small handful who took it like that, and the only one who responded with an attack.

It shouldnt have happened, it wasn't to you but even if it was you could have asked what I meant or do as the other user suggested and let someone else handle it.
Your original post was not to as why my question bothered you. It was a direct derogatory attack. You called names, you suggested I did not want the staff to enjoy the site. After I tried to clarify, (unsuccessful as it may have been), then you informed me that it was an accusation and if it wasn't i needed to check how I posted. Then you called me entitled.
Since my original misinterpreted question I have tried on numerous occasions to clarify. You want me to take equal blame for this but Im not willing to do that.
I asked a general question that was to short to be clear, you made a direct attack on numerous posts and want me to take partial blame here. Those are not equal errors.

We are where we are now because of your response to me, not because of my question to a programmer.

I would love to have a shot too and yea agreeing with others about the time, it's really not working for some of us. :\ It will be 8am for me and I will either be away at hospital looking after Dad so with no wifi or in bed sleeping if I get to come home for a bit of rest.

I'm american and 6 ends up being about 4 for me, so I'm still at school/work... Maybe roll a die to see what time you'll drop the teo off?

Orange (#52359) - A small handful that responded here, perhaps, but not otherwise. Several people took your words at face value as I did, they were just wiser and held their tongue.
My words could have been better put, but as I said - it sounded accusatory and if it wasn't meant to be then it should concern you that it was read that way because it could cause exactly the situation it has. People often unintentionally word things in a way that sound unlike how they were meant to.
As for calling you entitled - I didn't. I stated that what you were saying could make you sound as though you believe you are entitled - I was trying to explain that it was part of why you were getting the unexpectedly negative responses from multiple people. Perhaps I should have done so via PM, but again, that's a bell I cannot unring.

radicalhat (#43345) - As far as I know there's no immediate plans for them to be re-used, but who knows what the future holds? I know that I hold out hope, but then I'm a die hard Teo addict XD
