Teo Eggs

Site Update

We've finally figured out what we want to do with Teo Eggs! Like we said before, we decided that a random event was going to determine the owners of Teo Eggs (as opposed to breeding and adoption center stalking, as then everyone could have a chance).

To prevent people from auto-refreshing or cheating to get Teos, which was our main issue with them being a pure chance random event considering it'd cause a lot of lag, we decided that one teo egg will be given out by the site at 6:00 PM every day. All you have to do is be online at that time and the script could randomly choose you to send the Teo Egg event to.

Good luck! There are sixty five Teo sitting in the queue right now so a new one will go out at 6:00 PM for quite a while, and we'll restock them as needed.

Me & many others Offer free breeding with our breed-able teos To help people get their very first Teo ^_^ I have a few pretty ones And if it is the first Teo it is a free breed Just provide the coin of choice & any offspring will transfer to the person who was wanting it :). I have had a few people want to derp breed since its the easiest coin :).

Plus the forums have a lot of other peoples teos as well so You can even ask us to breed 1 of My teo with 1 of theirs if they agree & the system is set up that you can have it send to You once the breed is done :D

One suggestion also possible Is hold a 24 hour raffle for 1 BP and have it random draw an ID at the 6 PM marker

So say- 1 ticket only
Raffle posted 6 Pm Monday
Raffle draws 6 pm Tuesday
And Youd be able to add a new raffle before or after the other.. or something?

Though it be a bit more work for staff to set it up this way

But maybe this suggestion would help lower the complaints & drama over Us time Vs other times? Or even help figure a better way

But lets keep aymas month a Happy time guys :) Peace & good will right ^_^

Eveglori (#2775) Others saw just what I meant or asked me to clarify, to have one of the most senior staff members react in such a volatile way was shocking to say the least. We all have big red buttons, but you are the only staff member who responded to me like this. Im sorry this is an accusation you face, but next time before you take something the wrong way and attack players you should clarify. I did not say it the same way the first time as I did over multiple posts for a good reason, it was shorter the way I said it the first time and I type slow do to an injured hand.
I think most would agree name calling is completely out of line, from player to player, but from staff to player it looks REALLy bad. I lost a lot of respect for you today Eveglori. Perhaps you should consider too how your posts come across.

I'm happy that people who want a teo have a chance to get one but I think that staggered times would be beneficial to those not on American timezones or at work school during that time. Though as Kanein said, there are plenty of people also willing to do breedings for people who don't have a teo and really want one.

sounds niicee~ But even though my time zone matches up with the sites, I think a chance for those living on the other side of this planet should have a shot too- Time zones suck...I have a friend in the Philippines and when I wake up, she's getting ready for bed...or pulling an all-nighter lol

I love that idea. Toss it into suggestions.
Until I get a teo I will admire my Genet. :)

Orange (#52359) - People have ludicrous expectations of how far my patience and politeness stretches, so people often lose respect for me when they realise I'm human just like everyone else.
Perhaps we both made errors in our judgement about each other, and if we had both posted differently the first time we'd feel differently about each other, but it is what it is.

Eve, not to jump on this bandwagon (but I am), but for big red button issues, you responding in this way is common too. It's been an issue early on, and one that you're working on, I know. However the correct response would have been to clarify before making such a comment.

What Orange said did sound inflammitory, but that is no excuse to respond in kind when acting in an official role on the site. In a non-mod sense yes, please do, and the rest of the community with weigh in with their own opinions as well... but in a case where you feel you can't respond professionally and you're acting as mod? It's really best to let the comment sit for a moment while you calm down, or have someone else field the matter.

News posts generally are considered "official" space, while the rest of t the forums are less so. A good way if you can't do as above would be to signify a break between personal opinions and official duties is to have part of the comment in "mod hat" mode, and part without.
