Teo Eggs

Site Update

We've finally figured out what we want to do with Teo Eggs! Like we said before, we decided that a random event was going to determine the owners of Teo Eggs (as opposed to breeding and adoption center stalking, as then everyone could have a chance).

To prevent people from auto-refreshing or cheating to get Teos, which was our main issue with them being a pure chance random event considering it'd cause a lot of lag, we decided that one teo egg will be given out by the site at 6:00 PM every day. All you have to do is be online at that time and the script could randomly choose you to send the Teo Egg event to.

Good luck! There are sixty five Teo sitting in the queue right now so a new one will go out at 6:00 PM for quite a while, and we'll restock them as needed.

It would be neat if instead of 6pm, moved an hour every day. like, tomorrow would be 7pm, then next day 8pm, and so on. Provided it wasn't just one person handing them out. (Which idk) -Morris

Orange (#52359) - I read into what you said because of the way it was presented (which we have determined was not how it was intended) and didn't think it needed questioning as it was - to me - obvious what it was saying. I was wrong, and I am sorry for what I said.

You read into my later comments because of my misguided reaction and inappropriate response in my first - which for you set a certain tone that you expected my posts to be in that they weren't intended as.

This really is just a massive misunderstanding of tone and intent, and we're at the point where we're sniping literally over nothing because neither of us have said what the other thinks they did and it's just making a massive mess all up in the news comments to the point we are now getting to be as hostile as we misbelieved the other to be at the start XD

Can we call it a truce?

Orange- I really hope you don't take offense from this because I honestly don't mean any. I'm just hoping to maybe help with the misunderstanding and maybe add a different perspective to the situation. I don't know you nor have I had much personal interaction with you (if any at all) nor do I have close personal ties with Eveglori, but to me, your original statement wasn't unclear when it was read. To me, it was a clear, semi-aggressive statement implying that older users and staff had an advantage. It wasn't phrased in such a way that would make someone ask for clarification. I'm not saying you intended it to be read that way but I think you need to realize that other people read it that way and came to the acceptance that you have some blame in the situation (though I believe it was completely unintentional).

Again, I don't mean any offense.

Absolutely, I didn't want to make a mess but when a tone is set online it can be difficult to correct I know that :)

I really do understand why thats a touchy subject, accusations like that are completely and totally unjustified, this is an amazing site and I don't think ANYONE here would EVER purposely give an advantage to one group or another. The staff here work to hard to ensure otherwise. I truly don't believe and would not believe any Aywas staff would ever ever do that.

Sometimes I tend to think and speak partially in things/language that non-programmers just do not get and that can make a confusing situation much much worse. Trust me, sometimes speaking to other computer science people is like speaking an entirely different language.

Truce it is :) Sorry all of this got so blown out of proportion.

Eveglori you have never been anything but extremely kind to me and to my family, and I consider y'all my extended online family. I had my feelings hurt really. Y'all really are all awesome Im glad thats over.
