We've finally figured out what we want to do with Teo Eggs! Like we said before, we decided that a random event was going to determine the owners of Teo Eggs (as opposed to breeding and adoption center stalking, as then everyone could have a chance).
To prevent people from auto-refreshing or cheating to get Teos, which was our main issue with them being a pure chance random event considering it'd cause a lot of lag, we decided that one teo egg will be given out by the site at 6:00 PM every day. All you have to do is be online at that time and the script could randomly choose you to send the Teo Egg event to.
Good luck! There are sixty five Teo sitting in the queue right now so a new one will go out at 6:00 PM for quite a while, and we'll restock them as needed.

Tone is definitely hard to interpret and I think it's the only drawback of text based communications *nods* You miss the intonations that make everything clearer.
I'm afraid as it was suggested, it is one of my red rag to a bull moments - I'm used to anything people can say about me but I get protective of the newer staff that aren't used to it yet because it can be really harmful to think people believe that. I am glad to know you don't think we're like that!
I can understand that - I used to know enough to be able to nod and get by, but it all changes so quickly that I know nothing compared to what I used to a few years ago. Now I could understand more if they spoke to me in Russian than code, and I don't know a lick of Russian XDD
I'm sorry too - I'm glad that we can call it a truce though. I completely understand if you're still a bit wary of me, I've deserved that, but please know that you're nothing but safe in my inbox =)

Nice thought, sucks for people in different time zones though when this falls in the middle of the night. Might be nice to have a couple of drops a day, so that people who don't live in time zones where this falls at an acceptable time can participate.

You know, not to restart any arguments or anything, but personally I would have liked to read 23 pages of staff and users discussing any possible improvements to the Teo thing, rather than "he said, she said" type arguments... Since obviously, there was a staff member around to say something, even if it was just a: "I'll ask the others and see if they considered time zones and this was their decision or they haven't but they will." *shrugs*
That's probably my one and only big issue with Aywas. On things like this, where a lot of people express objections to the way Aywas is doing things, the staff is very much absent and doesn't answer questions people want answered. Not even a: "it's our game, deal with it." Personally I'd prefer that over no answer. At least it'd be clear. And I guess I felt the need to complain about this because a staff member did comment a lot but not on the topic that most people here were actually concerned about...
(And this is really unrelated to the argument itself, that's none of my business, especially since they settled it.)
