We've finally figured out what we want to do with Teo Eggs! Like we said before, we decided that a random event was going to determine the owners of Teo Eggs (as opposed to breeding and adoption center stalking, as then everyone could have a chance).
To prevent people from auto-refreshing or cheating to get Teos, which was our main issue with them being a pure chance random event considering it'd cause a lot of lag, we decided that one teo egg will be given out by the site at 6:00 PM every day. All you have to do is be online at that time and the script could randomly choose you to send the Teo Egg event to.
Good luck! There are sixty five Teo sitting in the queue right now so a new one will go out at 6:00 PM for quite a while, and we'll restock them as needed.

Adding my support to either dropping them at random times, or giving them to a random user who's been online in the next 24 hours. I'm technically in the "right" timezone for this (only an hour ahead of Aywas time) but I'm virtually never on at that hour because I'm almost always at work then. And just staying logged in is a great suggestion IF that's all that's required and you don't have to be active, but we haven't gotten an actual answer to that yet. And even if that is the case, that won't work for people who have to share computers or otherwise aren't able to just stay logged on when they aren't actively playing.

I think having a specific time could be bad. It will KILL the site with lag, as people logging on only to be on at 6 and get the chance to get the egg. :/ I think the time should change every day, still one egg being given out a day, but not have it at the same time every day...

I wonder if it works if I have my account so that I never get logged out. I don't know if it shows me as logged in when I don't have the site open though.

Do you think you will ever make another event for the rainbow teo eggs? or are they just collectable only forever now?
