Teo Eggs

Site Update

We've finally figured out what we want to do with Teo Eggs! Like we said before, we decided that a random event was going to determine the owners of Teo Eggs (as opposed to breeding and adoption center stalking, as then everyone could have a chance).

To prevent people from auto-refreshing or cheating to get Teos, which was our main issue with them being a pure chance random event considering it'd cause a lot of lag, we decided that one teo egg will be given out by the site at 6:00 PM every day. All you have to do is be online at that time and the script could randomly choose you to send the Teo Egg event to.

Good luck! There are sixty five Teo sitting in the queue right now so a new one will go out at 6:00 PM for quite a while, and we'll restock them as needed.

Too much drama @_@

I really like the idea of a random time every day, so all timezones could have a chance.
I think it's a great compromise if the staff is tentative about giving away 2 Teos a day~

6pm GMT?
Or, or is it American?
Cause I live in the UK

Looks like people from different time zones don't stand a chance. :/ I'd rather sleep than have another stay up for tiny chance to get a teo. xD

Being in a different country (NZ) I do have to say I support the idea of random drop times.. 6 PM Aywas time here is 1pm the next day.. not so bad for myself because I am disabled and able to be online.. but I know other Kiwis and Ozzies will be hard at work each day and be missing the opportunity to grab these eggs.

I love the fact that the site is trying an idea to make it fairer for all users to grab these eggs and a randomly generated drop sounds brilliant.. I am just against it being at a fixed time every day because with that you will get a huge amount of Lag.. and only those people who can access the site at those times will ever stand a chance of grabbing them.

I would like to see anyone who was on during the day have a random chance to be chosen, honestly. It seems the most fair to all users from all time zones, and I say that as someone who is in the same timezone as Aywas and would have an advantage if it stayed the way it is. ;) If it could be done that way instead, I think that'd be an excellent way to adjust it so all have a shot.

I too would like it to be considered to have a different time too, maybe just randomize it after all.

Pros:
No site lag, because no one knows when it will be
Everyone on this whole wide world has the same chance

Cons:
Maybe more difficult to program?

I'm also on Aywas time and have an advantage.
Even with that being the case, I have to agree with the others. This current set up isn't fair. Maybe a poll on how to make it better for everyone?

well I have to say I amnot amused by thisas 6PM Aywas time is only nice for US-american Users. Could you maybe change the time a few times during the event to let European users have a chance at teh Teos also?
