New Facebook Page! (get the images? hehe~)
Unfortunately due to a snafu with someone losing the information for the old page (Official Aywas), we decided to start fresh with a new look to go with the upcoming facelift we're giving the site!
So come visit the new Authentic Aywas FB page!
We hope to keep this page updated with up coming events, information on important site changes, and hopefully a lot of chatter too.

Anyone wanting our tumblr page it is over Here! We will keep this one updated too, however it won't be as chatty as the Facebook.
We also do have a site Twitter, but that one seemed to have suffered the same snafu that plagued our original FB pages, so for now it will only echo Tumblr's posts.
Hey guys! Just to let everyone know we will be having some downtime on Saturday June 10th. Our server got bought out so we gotta move to the new servers. In order to preserve all of our information the site itself is going to go down between 2 and 3 am Aywas Time.
You should not lose any of your information during this downtime, we are hoping that it only lasts a few hours but we know how finicky this stuff can go. So just in case, I do recommend pre-downloading any breeding psds you are in the middle of making, any site lines, etc, so you guys can keep working on customs. If you are doing the pool party prediction event make sure to get your rolls done before hand so that you or your artist can work on the predictions during the downtime.
If this goes on longer than we expect I will try to be active on different Aywas' Social Media Platforms to let everyone stay in the loop as well as my own personal tumblr.

Prediction Pool Party - Clarifications!

Just some small updates and clarifications that we have noticed when going through the queues!
If you want the bonuses from the Prediction Pool Party you MUST be making predictions. Site Offspring will be done as they normally are and will not have any of the bonus offspring/perks from the Prediction Pool Party
If you would like to know how many predictions you can make, please look at this thread. If you have questions after reading this thread, please PM one of the following people:
PM Kaiyo about Eggnog, Blind Date, Transitional Fossil Egg, Alidae Egg, Painted Metal Breeding Coin, Painted Lesser Breeding Coin, and Sketch Breeding Coins.
PM Vampi about Platinum Breeding Coins

All of the SCC bases that can be used for BC and HBC predictions have been updated and we are no longer accepting submissions!

The Slashbot would like to interject this news post with something much more important than abnormal fluffy flesh creatures such as those previously posted. The Slashbot has combined efforts with Wisp & Lei (#1343) once again in order to produce a very appealing new item. The Slashbot has also threatened the Aywas Staff to permit it to be this months premium item. As such, this months premium item is the Sippy Cup!
When used in a breeding that would produce a hybrid the artist will use the Baby Hybrid lines instead! If there is not a baby Hybrid for your Hybrid then the Sippy Cup will be refunded but the breeding will still be processed. When used with Blind Date or Delicious Eggnog, if the artist chooses the pet that does not result in a baby line the Sippy Cup will be refunded. For Idolia the Idolia Mask must be included and still has a chance to fail, or a Hybrid Genetics Kit used.
The Slashbot does not compute why Wisp & Lei (#1343) enjoy these young fleshlings so much, but The Slashbot enjoys working with them so The Slashbot will continue to cooperate.
The Slashbot then shifts so their feet are jets and blasts off in Team Rocket fashion

- Discovering old items and re-purposing them or fixing them (looking at you, healing pendant!)

I also want to just remind everyone about the Prediction Pool Party (like you forgot!) It is still going on for a few more months and we have a lot of GP and USD artists who have opened up shop over in the Sub-Forum! We also have been keeping copies of all of the news posts in the main Pool Party Thread, so you can read that to stay on top of all the updates. We also added a cute little banner to the left side of the screen for easy access!
We hope that you guys are all enjoying this so far!

I am happy to announce that the Metal Breeding Coin queue has 48 Breedings, and the Rusted Breeding Coin queue has 26 breedings! We have taken quite a chunk out of it in the past few weeks and I am so thankful to my artists for their fantastic work!

Please include whether you have been on a breeding team before, even if it was temporary!
You are also welcome to PM me using examples from already completed predictions, practice pairs, or edit examples (in the case of coins that require artists to draw new edits) instead of filling out the application on the threads.

Below are the payment options and list deadlines for each team:
Breeding Coins, Holiday Breeding Coins, and Evil Breeding coins:
Lists of artist choice number of babies in 14 days.
30 GP per 30% edited baby and 40 GP per 50% edited baby or
45 Credit per 30% edited baby and 60 Credit per 50% edited baby
Lesser Breeding Coin
Lists of artist choice number of babies in 10 days.
10 GP per baby or
15 Credit per baby
Radioactive Breeding Coin
Lists of 10 babies in 10 days
Lists of 20 babies in 10 or 20 days (artist choice)
List of 30+ babies in 20 days (artist choice as long as it is an increment of 10)
8 GP per normal baby and 4 GP per mutant baby or
12 Credit per normal baby and 6 Credit per mutant baby

I am also happy to announce that I have a new option for Breeding Coin and Holiday Breeding Coin artists!
This option is open to anyone currently on either team and also new hires!
I am going to allow artists to split lists between two artists. That means that one artist will complete all of the edits for the offspring and the other artist will complete the coloring.
List options are any size list with a 7 day deadline for each part.
That means the basing artist will have a deadline of 7 days, and the coloring artist will have a deadline of 7 days.
This option will pay 15 GP to each artist per 30% offspring and 20 GP to each artist per 50% offspring.
(You can also opt to take Credit).
Currently I am only looking to hire artists who are interested in doing the editing half of the job. If I have interest in the editing portion, I will make another news post shortly looking for colorists to pair up with the artists creating the edits!
If you are interested in this position, please message me with examples of your edits and which coin (BC, HBC, or both ;D) you are interested in applying for.
For the users who have BC and HBC breedings assigned to an artist this also means that you may notice your breeding has gone from 7 days assigned back to 0 days assigned. That just means your breeding has been assigned to a colorist and should be on its way to you shortly!
I also want to note that if you ever have an issue or question about a breeding that has been assigned for a long period of time, or a breeding that was assigned but suddenly went back down to 0 days, or became completely unassigned, please message me to ask about it! I try to process breedings and make sure everything is on time, but sometimes life gets in the way (for artists and for myself!) and it takes a few extra days (or something needs to be completely reassigned) in order to get completed!
I am happy to help and I will let you know all I can about your particular breeding :)

Pool Party Update!
Site Update
Please read the News Post on the Prediction Pool Party if you have absolutely no idea what is going on!
Some updates to our Prediction Pool Party!
A thread has been created that lists every coin and how many offspring users will receive with different add-ons and whether or not the pet is married.
If you have a question that is not answered in this thread, please PM Kita (#3988) with those questions and she will get back to you as soon as she can!
We have also had questions about Breeding Coin offspring for this event!
You must use the hybrid that your genera will make unless you have a Genetics Kit or Hybrid Genetics Kit attached. If you breed a Melo x Soli, you must make Quetzal babies.
If you attach a Genetics Kit or Hybrid Genetics Kit, you can choose the genera for each offspring. That means you can make 2, 3, or even 4 different genera with these add-ons attached to your breeding!
If you attach a Hybrid DNA to your breeding, you must make the offspring that the parents would make (Shisa x Quetzal = you must make Nimbus). However, if you would like to make a different Rare Hybrid, you can PM Kita and she will roll a random Rare Hybrid for you!
If you use a Hybrid DNA AND a Hybrid Genetics Kit you may choose any Rare Hybrid from this list -
Rare Hybrids: Neura, Violinn, Nimbus, Boreas, Emaia, or Alidae
There was some confusion if they were rolls for a rare or a rare hybrid so I am clarifying that in a news post! These include: Neura, violinn, Nimbus, boreas, emaia or alidae
Blind Dates allow for any pet excluding: Xaoc, Sariforme and Squishy
Delicious Eggnog allow for any Rare Hybrid: Neura, violinn, Nimbus, boreas, emaia or alidae
I was also notified that Hybrid Genetics Kits and Genetics Kits were not compatible with Evil Breeding Coins. These items can now be added to your Evil Breeding Coin breeding!
This is a permanent change to Evil Breeding Coins.
The Faux and Snoodle boxes are also emptied, so they will be going back to working as normal instead of being able to purchase Fauxes and Snoodles for 1 GP!
