I love designs that are colorful. creative, has a soul to it. When you put your soul into a design it is always rewarding, even if it wasnt picked, its a one of a kind and no imitation, no copies nor duplication can take away your designs meaning, wether it be your first design or 100th. Be proud of your creation...for it is a one of a kind.

Don't use adjustment layers to color. (Brightness/Contrast, HueSatBrightness, Vibrance, Selective Color etc.) You can use them to find colors, but then go back and recolor your layers without them.

Pay attention to the anatomy in your designs and edits. A piece can be coloured, shaded, and detailed, but if the anatomy is strange it can make the whole composition look wrong.

Always color the lineart. Preferably in the same color as the (body)part of which you are coloring the lineart.

Don't forget to replace the lineart after resizing! Make sure to color it too, also always save in .png with a clear background! Nothing can go wrong if you keep these in mind! - Edina

Keep it simple, but don't forget the details.

Don't take negative criticism to heart - everyone has to start somewhere and critiquing constructively is an art in itself. Instead use the criticisms as a way to see your designs in a different light and make them 'better'.

Choosing colours that go well together and not using too many markings.
