Nice Aywas designs are something that you don't just doodle up! They take thought, and a good source of inspiration! Look at nature and find a pattern, and base the design off of that! Then go wild!

Try making color palettes. Have a darker few colors, middle colors with higher saturation, and a lighter few colors that are less saturated. Switch out different palettes or put them side by side to see which colors you like the best. Also -- even a slightly different colored lineart makes a world of difference!

If you are too lazy to colour the lineart well, just colour it all grey and set it as multiply. It won't look as great but it takes very little effort.

Make sure you check how the whole design works together, it's so easy to get to focused on minute details and loose track of the overall design.
