I am very excited to announce that we raised ~$1345 for shelters/rescues!
Thank you so much for your support! I enjoyed reading all of the stories you shared about why you chose a particular organization and how they're helping animals in your community. Unsurprisingly, many of you have rescued pets yourself and/or volunteer with animal organizations.
We are on a pet site after all, so it's expected that a lot of our company loves animals, but your outpouring is a testament to what a great community we have and how strong our animal adoration is.
Thank you again for participating in Dog Week from myself and Ryou!

As a parting reminder, some notes about customs.
Anything kicked today from the custom queue has been logged - simply fix the issue and resubmit your doggy, it'll pass as a prior submission, regardless of deadline. The Mongrel Founders for Dog Week are 8% different. That means you have only 22% edits left to work with.
About 3rd party brushes - the brushes that come with your software are fine to use, but 99% of the downloadable brush sets (nozzles, stamps, premade brushes, etc.) out there do not meet the criteria to be used on Aywas - which means if we find out your pet has been made with them later on, it gets deleted without refund*. Please, please please avoid using other people's brushes unless they are free for commercial use, and absolutely no attribution is required of any kind. It's not worth the risk otherwise. ;__;
Now I must flee back to the custom queue, there's a veritable horde of doggies to process!
*In the event a design was purchased from another player, it's the artist who would be punished for breaking the rules, not the buyer. The pet would have to be redone to remove the infringing material, but would not be deleted.

Natural Aywa Enhancement

... a Natural Aywa Enhancement in the BP Shop!
Have you ever found yourself with a gorgeous custom on a 400 x 400 canvas, only to shrink it down to 200 x 200 to upload, and lose some intricate detailing you (or the artist you commissioned) slaved over? That's where this item will come in handy!
This special magnifying glass will allow you to upload a 400x400 sized pet, and while it is especially geared toward Silver customs or special event lineart that has larger PSDs available, you can use it on any custom pet. Here's a few things to keep in mind:
- The 400 x 400 image will only be visible on the pet's page, not on the forums or in your lair.
- Can only be used on existing custom pets; this is an overlay-only item.
- There must be no changes between the two images other than size.
- This item only works if you have a 400x400 image of your pet. It does not create higher resolution images on its own.
To use, have this item in your inventory, view your pet's page and hit the "Upload Full Image" button.
Here's an example of our pet, Talisman.

The Natural Aywa Enhancement then works its magic.
Voila!
There's also a special queue for these large pets.
If you later decide that you're tired of the large image, there will be a delete button (with a confirmation screen) that you can use to remove the full image at no cost. Your pet will then return to its original size. :3
(Also, remember that per the ToS, you are not permitted to manipulate official pet details (pet image, pet stats, pet breedability, etc.) in pet profiles through CSS or any other means.

These should be tangible paper dolls, but they can be of anything you want (NPCs, pets, monsters, items, etc.), it just has to be Aywas-related as always. And make sure to include your name/ID on a piece of paper or something visible in the photograph.

Dog Week Reminder!

You have just about 24 hours to round up any last Dog Park pets, snag goodies from the shop, use your snazzy Red Collars and donate for our shelter fundraiser! The Dog Week festivities will be closing after September 29th at 11:59 p.m.
If you've sent me your proof for the Luxury Collar, as of the current time all have been handed out.
I will post the final USD total after donations close. :)

Dog Week Seasonal Shop

The Seasonal Shop is now officially open!
If you were lacking in appropriate attire for the Dog Park, the Dog Trainer ensemble might catch your eye!
(Seriously, I saw some of you running around in formal dresses out there. I hope you know of a local dry cleaner.)
The "training" set of dogs are all wearable, and if you layer them juuust right, you'll look like a professional dog walker!
You can play with the Dog Trainer and Training dog HA items in the preview wardrobe feature to see if they're staples you want in your closet. :3
For our fauna lovers, we have a few cute toys/fauna that you can attach to your beloved pets!
That piggie doesn't seem to be in the best shape, though, so you might want to treat your pet to some snacks before tossing a toy their way.
The Tin of Dog Food is a hunger item that works as a nice incentive, as are the energy-inducing Bag of Treats!
Though the Magic Kibble looks deliciously edible, it's sneaky--it's actually a breeding add-on!
Compatible with BC and HBC breedings only, this item tells your breeding artist to give the offspring small dog accessory edits (like a collar or toy).
You'll also see the familiar Red Collar hanging out in the store for an intentionally high price since the Museum collection prize is fairly easy to obtain. :3
We also have two random potion items to introduce!
The Dog Park Brew (park-looking potion) will turn your active pet into a random Dog Park adventure region pet, whereas
the Dog Week Potion (fire hydrant) will turn your active pet into one of the Seasonal Shop pets.

This is your obligatory warning to not try to take anything from under Lorin's paws until the official news post is up.
(read: I'm working on the Seasonal Shop and you are advised not to purchase anything until I make the opening announcement.)
As usual, prices, functions, etc. are all subject to change, and we will not issue refunds for premature purchases.
