Teo Eggs

Site Update

We've finally figured out what we want to do with Teo Eggs! Like we said before, we decided that a random event was going to determine the owners of Teo Eggs (as opposed to breeding and adoption center stalking, as then everyone could have a chance).

To prevent people from auto-refreshing or cheating to get Teos, which was our main issue with them being a pure chance random event considering it'd cause a lot of lag, we decided that one teo egg will be given out by the site at 6:00 PM every day. All you have to do is be online at that time and the script could randomly choose you to send the Teo Egg event to.

Good luck! There are sixty five Teo sitting in the queue right now so a new one will go out at 6:00 PM for quite a while, and we'll restock them as needed.

6pm aywas time is midnight for me and I can't stay up that late on week nights. Wishing everyone who is able to participate good luck.

Randomized times sound good...might prevent the site from crashing at six every day too haha.

...well I'm glad I logged in on my break at work. I guess that means I have a chance; I can't be actively online when not on break, but it does keep me logged in, so...

Unannonced random times do seem like a much better idea to me, though. But if that means people will be madly refreshing ALL DAY I guess that's another problem... urgh, this is complex. @__@

Yea who ever gets the first one early Congrats.
My % luck is 1/1billion on this site which just funny. Ahh almost like teo lotto without having to pay a thing.

I wonder if this is going to be like previous Teo events and be prioritzed to go to low number accounts and staff.

Most interesting! TEOS FOR ALL! I like this solution although I'm curious as to what counts as being online. How long do you need to be inactive to be considered offline? Either way, thank you Aywas staff!

Good luck everyone and make sure to show them off when they hatch :D

Love the idea and the implementation. Perhaps the timer for drops could be set to rotate by 6 hours each quarter. 6pm site time for 4 months, midnight 3 months, etc etc.

Love the attention and care fr site features and dynamics here. What a wonderful team. Happy Aymas!

I think this is a great idea. Very fair way to distribute them. While this time works for me I can definitely understand why people need different times. Why not have 3 or 4 set times that rotate in a cycle. (6 PM one day 6AM the next, a different time the next day until it rotates back to 6PM and the cycle starts again. ) Does that make sense?
