There has been a case where a farmer was able to grab a snow leopard by the tail and drag it all the way out of his pasture by holding it by the tail. Not once did the snow leopard fight back while the farmer was doing this. But then after the farmer got the cat off of his land, he stoned it to death. :/

A breed of lion called the Tsavo lion, living by the Tsavo River in the Tsavo National Park in Kenya, are larger than most lions and the males have no manes. Also a pair of males were known as maneaters back in 1898 for attacking and killing people building a railroad/bridge. :3

Cheetahs are the only big cats that can't retract their claws, which are used for traction while running after their prey.

Cheetahs can run really fast, it's true, but they actually have really poor vision while running due to the speed and can only see general outlines of big objects/animals. Thus, they often lose sight of their prey while running and have to stop, find it again, and then run after it again if they don't catch it right away.
