Lionesses, upon reaching adulthood, have to prove themselves to the pride in order to stay. This takes the form of harassment and fights, and those females that can handle it end up being accepted for life.

Lions can forgo eating for days when they copulate. c; Talk about getting your priorities straight. Making babies is way more important than food.

The puma can kill and drag prey up to seven times its own weight. They're pretty strong workhorses.
