I will repost my old one because I can't find it. D:
"Long, muscular hind legs enable snow leopards to leap seven times their own body length in a single bound. I wish I could jump that far. lol" (I'm pretty sure that's exactly what I put. XD)

Dogs are man's best friend? psh. Cheetahs have been trained for hunting as long ago as 3000 B.C.

The most well known maneating tiger was the Champawat Maneater in Corbett National Park. She killed a record of 436 people over five years. Champawat was shot in 1911. :(

I found this amusing, dunno if you will. But apparently all cats (the big cats included) actually lap up water with the underside of their tongue, not the top. The furry little weirdos. x3

"The Chinese, during the reign of Kublai Khan, used lions on hunting expeditions. They trained the big cats to pursue and drag down massive animals - from wild bulls to bears - and to stay with the kill until the hunter arrived."

I thought that was really interesting...

Lions partake in homosexual activity. They will rub, pair-bond, mount one another, (and thrust). While its been observed among males both in the wild and captivity, females appear to only resort to this behavior in captivity, as no one has observed it in the wild. Kinky. ;D

Mountain Lion's calls resemble that of a woman screaming in pain, and are known for this in areas in which they live. Can you imagine? Not only do you get cornered by a huge, hungry cat... but it screams like a woman in pain!

WAIT can I switch mine? I found one that's more interesting, even though it makes me sad. :C

Cats can't taste sugar and other sweets. They're missing the bit of DNA that lets them taste sweet-ness, So all that time I thought my cat really liked ice cream, all she was tasting was milk. :'C
