cheetah are the only large cats without retractable claws. the structure is the same but they lack the skin and fur sheath, so their claws are always visible.

Among wildcats, the serval has the longest legs in proportion to it's body. One of my favorite feline facts.^^

Mine again: Black panthers are really melanistic leopards or jaguars, depending on which continent you are on. So there really aren't black panthers...well, not in the animal kingdom.
