Snake Solis

Pets

It's the 5th anniversary of Steve Irwin's death. It's strange how it's already been five years since he died... I still watch his show on Animal Planet, and he had always shown reptiles in a positive light, something we still need more of in the media.

In his memory I released some more snake-related Solis into Explore:

Did Steve Irwin inspire you?

Wow, hard to believe it's been so long. Steve was a great man, and is still missed. I'm from the USA and I remember watching his show so many times. While I still love my furry friends (cats...dogs...melos...) more, I do like reptiles (and love Solis!). Thank you, Slash, and everyone else that worked on this.

Man, it's hard to believe it's been five years already. I still remember being so shocked when I heard the news. I cried during the memorial. :(

RIP Steve, you're dearly missed.

I miss Steve so much. I try to watch his show whenever it comes on. He was such a big inspiration for me. I still can't believe he's been gone five years.

Steve Irwin is the reason I like snakes. He was one of the best shows on Animal Planet; the channel has gone downhill since his death.

Truthfully, yes. Yes he did.
He did what he wanted.
What he did made him happy.
Isn't our ultimate goal in life to be happy?
RIP steve Irwin ~<3

Steve Irwin. . . Gosh. . . What could I say about him? Through his show my love for every animal, great or small, grew along with my knowledge and love for the world around me. Not only that countless childhood memories, from sitting in my stepfather's lap while watching him chase countless animals to waking my mom up every ten minutes on Saturday morning every time he shouted out another animal fact. May he rest in peace.
