It's the 5th anniversary of Steve Irwin's death. It's strange how it's already been five years since he died... I still watch his show on Animal Planet, and he had always shown reptiles in a positive light, something we still need more of in the media.
In his memory I released some more snake-related Solis into Explore:

Steve Irwin.. Was amazing. I lost my dad around the same time so.. I was still in a really bad shock.. This is really sweet..

A true friend to all animals. I loved his show and I too still watch it. I wish his family the best and wish there were more just like him. I have loved all animals from a very young age, including snakes. "A moment of silence"

His show is on Animal Planet in the mornings, usually around 5 - 7 AM. I'm up during then so I see it. D=

They still play his show on Animal Planet, just not regularly; it's kind of strange to watch it now, though. He was incredible and inspiring and he taught me about time zones when I was young! Not to mention he was just incredible. I can't believe its been five years :c

I loved Steve Irwin! I could watch his show and be amused and totally enjoy it too! I couldn't stand Jeff Corwins show, but love Steve Irwin! I love how his fashion sense never changed either XD even going to some big event, he'd still wear relatively the same thing! It was just as awesome as Ben Stein wearing tennies with a suit!
