Programming Changelog October 9
- Throwing Bones awards Adventure EXP now (instead of unusable Explore EXP)
- Quick Search can be used to search pet species by keyword
- Welcome Back has been re-enabled as we observe its speed and effect on lag. Note that forum posts have been disabled on it because they contribute to lag a lot.
- The Pet Abilities link in the Pets tab links to the correct shop now
- When searching for an item in Quick Search there's a link to search for that item in user shops
- When searching for users in Quick Search, sometimes it would load the same user multiple times. That has been fixed.
- Tiny Silver Potions and Holiday Silver Potions now have founder ID fields. Please use 'em.
- Premium issues on forums have been fixed.
- Forum post color for Breeding Team users (goldenrod) has been fixed.

Pet Shop Restock!
Pets
As some of you may have noticed, the Little Pet Shop of Horrors has received a new stock of pets! They're eager and awaiting new loving owners!
In case you weren't aware, the Pet Shop is on a stock rotation schedule with the stock changing every 3 months. After the 3 months, the pets currently in stock will be permanently retired and a new stock will replace them. So get them while you can!
If you want to have the chance of getting a design of yours into the pet shop, go ahead and submit them to the Pet Coloration Submissions forum. Most of the submitted designs will be put into Adventure, but some random designs will be kept to go into the pet shop!
If your design is now in the pet shop please contact Kyu (#1010) for your free copy. That's right, if your design is accepted and put in the shop you get a free copy. That could save you a good amount of BP!

Patch History and Frankenstein's Lab!
Site Update
The Halloween 2013 link has been added to site navigation under the Community tab.
We have also added Pumpkin Patch history for deposited pumpkins as well as collected pumpkins!
If you accidentally navigated away from an awesome PSD or forgot how many goodies you deposited, now you can double check. :3 Please let us know if you experience any problems with either history tab.
It seems Frankenstein's Lab has also flickered to life!
Visit the lab to create pet projects with the gatherables you've been collecting in the Spooky Forest!
There are 16 pets for you to synthesize, but here's a small sampling of what you'll be able to craft:

Art Gallery
Contests
The art gallery has been judged!
The theme was Paper Dolls and we received lovely, expressive entries!
I would've never come up with this theme if it weren't for the Think Tank suggestions, and I loved the results, so keep 'em comin'!

This can be any medium you want; you can do a digital rendering, a scene IRL, etc.
As always, just keep it Aywas related and make sure your name and ID is on the entry (if it's something you take a photograph of, make sure your name/ID is visible in the photograph somewhere).

Celebratory Foods!

I'm not very good with introductions, but I am good with edible pick-me-ups, so I'll let my food speak for itself." Stepping aside in a whirl of fabric with a proud gleam, Claude revealed a table decked out for a reception with three main centerpieces.
Introducing two new gourmet foods--Ay Kebabs and a Random Egg Cake!
We have also added Popping Berry Champagne as a LR Energy Food stocking in Energy Dishes.
"Everything tastes better after midnight, right? Plus, I had a few Aywas birthday specials up my sleeve, so I hope you enjoy the eats! (Yes, I will be watching to see if you come back for seconds, and no one's judging if you take thirds.)"

Friday Night Finx Poll!

You might remember that a while back we had a poll for a new alternate Finx and there were lots of sketchy options to choose from! In honor of our birthday week, we've taken the top two (which were very close in votes) and had them lined for one final poll. :3
We'll keep the voting open through Friday, October 11 at 11:59 p.m.
The winning version will be shaded and released as our official alternate Finx and will then be a base you can use for Orb customs.
Let the voting begin!

Coding Corner Update

It's been a while since we've gathered up all the newest changes, so here we are!
* Both Pet and Item auctions support auctioning for GP.
* Pet Auctions have a drop down for selecting a pet instead of loading them all.
* Quick Stock 2.0 has now gone live (made by our UX goddess, Hinata).
* News Post titles can be searched (going to research body text searches)
* Notifications can be checked and deleted in groups by clicking View All Notices
* The new layout has been bounced back and forth between Hinata and the designer for improvements and now has been approved.
* Adventure will be semi-revamped by Yasu to address leveling/exp concerns and monster loot drop requests (as well as utilizing new art).
About the lag: we suspect one of our newer programmers might not be using resources efficiently and are looking into it.

Return of the Trophies
New Feature
Our wonderful volunteer coder, Loscil, is working on bringing trophies back to our profiles!
Trophies haven't been a profile option for quite some time, so there are bound to be some kinks. She's trying to fix them up again!
To enable trophies, simply go to your profile settings and add the trophy panel to your profile. If your account has earned trophies, they will show up! (Or they should). Trophies are awarded for most game high score boards and some specific events have awarded trophies for participation or high scoring.
You can also see them here.
If you see a problem, head on over to this thread to let Loscil know! Be sure to check her post to see if your problem has been reported already.

Cosmos (#25837) is kindly bringing us a little cheer amidst this month's spooky tidings, with a necklace lovingly crafted from her favourite flowers.
