Update: Fire � Deja (#1163) has contacted the shelter but lives in California. They can hold the cat until tonight. Slash is willing to cover the cost to ship the cat, but we need a Florida person to actually go in TODAY and adopt the cat so that he can be transported to Deja.
M-M-Mini + LizzyLiz (#567) has an urgent message to Florida Aywasians:
Do you know anyone who lives near Tampa Bay, Florida who could adopt a cat? There's a really sweet black cat that's due to be killed in a few hours if he can't find a home or enough pledges or a rescue.
His info:
6/6 SIGNED OFF FOR EUTH!!! ARGUS WILL BE EUTHANIZED EARLY IN THE MORNING! If you can adopt, adopt-to-rehome, or rescue, you MUST email [email protected] BEFORE 9AM with the words DO NOT EUTH and the Animal ID# in the subject line (serious adopters and rescues only). Include you name and contact information and let the shelter know you can pick up the cat tomorrow. MUST BE PICKED UP TOMORROW!! You can also try calling the shelter starting at 8AM at 813-744-5660 to make sure your email was seen.

Let me know if that's possible and I'd donate what I can. I know there are so many sweet cats in need, but he looks a lot like one I lost 5 years ago. Good luck, Argus!

Q~Q that like a less than half hour drive from me . . . . but i don't think my fiancé wants more cats -curls in corner and cries- super guilt building . . . .

Black cats are so sweet, I wish there was not so much stigma around them. My black cat is the best cat I have owned, he turns 12 at the end of the year.

Please email friends, family, ANYONE you know! Post him on your Tumblr, Facebook, whatever other social networking places you use. He only has literally a few hours left and every second might count. Even if you can only pledge a dollar, maybe it could convince them to buy him more time.

Fire � Deja (#1163) why don't you ask KatieHeppelle (#54322) to adopt the cat and transfer it to you? Since they're near the shelter!! If KatieHeppelle (#54322) needs money to cover the shipping I could help there! I think you can ship cats through Delta Dash
