Update on Chargeback Situation

Site Update

Due to our inability to find a favorable result with Amazon Payments, we have decided to remove our option to pay with Amazon Payments for the USD Shop and GP Purchases. We will only be taking PayPal until further notice, including with the USD Auction.

Unfortunately, with this situation, all payments being sent there are immediately being taken from us, which leaves us unable to pay artists for the items you purchase. This is unacceptable, and thus we will only be taking PayPal until the situation is fully resolved.

EDIT: We can offer manual processing of transactions through Square to those who cannot or do not want to use PayPal. To read more about this option, please visit the knowledge base.

Please remember that you can help us out with this situation by going to the Special Cash Auctions. Some of the pets will be ending tomorrow!

We will invoice all the winners when all pets' auctions have expired. The auctions will be completely over on Thu May 14, 2015 7:33pm. Be sure to get in any last minute bids!

From Square's site:

"While Square can be used internationally to record payments, track inventory, and grow your business – payment processing is limited to the 50 United States, Canada, and Japan. We currently don't support payment card processing outside of these countries.

Additionally, cross-border payments are unsupported. This means that card transactions attempted outside of the country where you activated your Square account can't be processed with Square."

Nevermind I found this update. :)

"Accept International Cards
Square can process most non-US issued cards bearing a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or JCB logo. You can process international cards via manual entry.

To manually process an international card, enter the card number, expiration date, CVV, and either the postal code (same as ZIP code in the United States) or five zeros (00000).

Keep the following in mind when processing international cards: "

Holy crap the hostilities are uncalled for. I have never had a problem with PayPal either and they are wicked awesome. I have used them for over fifteen years and never once was I over drafted. Its linked yo my bank and if I do not have the money it will tell me I cannot afford it. Who knows perhaps it was an old thing they had and are no longer offering it or it might only work with certain banks/credit unions.

so when an auction is over and we have the "winning bid" what do we do for that? does the money automatically come out? or do we have to find a place to send the money? i'm not sure D:

Errantmisty (#51563) - Slash stated in the forums that they were undecided if it would count toward bonuses but was leaning toward no.

I believe Slash will invoice you the amount of all the auctions you won and then you pay that invoice.

Question, will you get some notification if you won the auction? I was top bidder last night on 4 pets that were ending at like 7:30am this morning and didn't getting any notification of being outbid or winning ^^;
