Teos in the adoption center can drop either in their actual genus, or in a random genus to offset the enormous advantage that Goggle users have in finding them. They are still dropped in both ways, but there is no telling which way any particular egg or batch will be dropped.

this teo thing was never made very clear, and I've read the knowledge base. I have goggles and I haven't found anything, so I don't think there's much of an advantage. I feel bad for everyone who bought goggles just for them to lose a lot of value. I also don't understand if you can find a teo in all kinds of breedings, and if the center has to be 5000+ for them to drop.

Why can't these announcements ever come when I'm online? x.x They are probably all gone now. Unless the planets align just right I'm never gonna get one of these =P You should put a Teo counter in the Adoption center, so that people don't continue hopelessly refreshing to find the ones you can't find with goggles when they are all long gone.

A Teo counter would only encourage people to spam refresh massively when there is even 1 in the center and then abandon the adoption center whenever there isn't 1 causing a spike of potential lag. Yes, it's tedious. No, there is no guarantee that you'll find one. This helps equalize the footing between those who have goggles and those who don't.

Ok, Teo's Drop when there is under 5000 pets in the adoption center. That was just a one time thing to bring them into the world. So do not worry about that.
Teo's can drop at ANY TIME OF THE DAY. Anytime. At all. They are put in completely random.
I am an owner of Goggles, yes I have found several Teos.. I have also given away several to users who haven't been complaining about everything =/
Swapping up their Genus's is a really good solution because at points people with Goggles will still get a bonus, so yay for premium members having a bonus. But you know what? It doesn't make much of a difference. I have goggles and i have missed pets showing up as "Teos" but last night I grabbed an egg that was actually a "Jiao". It is 110% luck, people need to take a step back and just get a breather. It isn't the end of the world, and teos are not going to just spontaneously stop dropping.

@489 Ok. That makes sense. Thank you. I think my only question now is how do we know if there are teos left? They come out in batches so there is a limited number, so I am curious about when they run out. Either way, thank you for your post and I think that people tend to get overly worked up when they do not have the largest advantage. I never had goggles but even with this update they are clearly useful. People like to overreact methinks.

I am pretty sure they are released in batches of 5, perhaps 6 if there is a rare. I have only seen them in batches of 5 and then the rare straggling along. I agree too, I think people are just all in arms because they don't have the advantage/ they spent too much GP on Goggles and feel that now their useless. (whichtheyaren't) The only Teo related question I am not 100% sure on is if you can get a teo from any breeding. But considering it doesn't specifically say only X breedings I would assume it is possible to get them from any coin.

This doesn't make the goggles completely useless....goggle owners still have an edge. This is nice to newer users. :)
