Teos in the adoption center can drop either in their actual genus, or in a random genus to offset the enormous advantage that Goggle users have in finding them. They are still dropped in both ways, but there is no telling which way any particular egg or batch will be dropped.

I believe that you can only get them from higher breeding coins, so not metal, derp, or radioactive. I think that the parents can be any kind however. And thank you for the answer.

For everyone who is saying that premium members should get an advantage... I agree but I'm a premium member who just joined this year (as you can tell from my id#) and I don't have goggles! So yes, it's fairer if that's not the only way to find them. To premium members too. =)

Ok the goggles are still perfectly useful, the teos are still dropping as their genus, just not COMPLETELY as their genus, oh my goodness you guys, stop whining about how goggles are useless and how premium people had an advantage for once and now it's gone. It's still there, but goggles were super inflated in price and Teos weren't even coming close to anyone WITHOUT goggles. So this is a fair solution which still allows people with goggles to grab a Teo if it drops and is logged as its own genus, but also gives others without goggles the chance to grab one as well, since it's more likely to find them in the adoption center anyway. Quit being whiny babies, we're all above the age of 13 here.

Lol, 'Google' for goggle...
As for me, I have the goggles and all and while it IS an advantage over other users that DON'T have them, I have a terribly slow PC. Usually when I see them, they're gone before the page loads after I've clicked on them. Going for them isn't going to be an option for me as I'm having back surgery in a few days and won't be able to sit at my computer to search for them. I'll just have to wait and see if someone is kind enough to sell one and hope that I have the funds to buy it when they do ^^

And I'm in complete agreement on one point. There's no point in whining about something that even the people in CHARGE can't control. It was stated that it was random and there were no specifics for it. This is an awesome event where we, the players, are getting something cool for free. If we whine about it, they're likely to take away ALL fun, free activities like this. Come on here, guys. We're all supposed to be over 13. Let's not act like spoiled 2 year old.
On a side note? Just saw one and missed it. Just one of those things that happen...

come on, no one saw this coming? I think saying-no-names are being dramatic. having never even come close to the amt it would take to purchase the goggles, I'm relieved, but yet I am also relieved that they will still be searchable sometimes for those who did spend hard earned currency to purchase the goggles.
