Teos in the adoption center can drop either in their actual genus, or in a random genus to offset the enormous advantage that Goggle users have in finding them. They are still dropped in both ways, but there is no telling which way any particular egg or batch will be dropped.

I was thinking to myself when they were released that the balance was a bit off with the Goggles being able to sort by genus, then for some reason when this news post appeared I decided to check our inventory because the artwork seemed very familiar to me. Turns out we actually have an unused pair and I'm a complete dingus for not even realising xD haha. - Kaulitzie

Also, if I understand correctly, the egg can show up on another genus by being custom pet of that genus? Also how many pets have to be in the adoption center for them to show up? Sorry for repeating my question but I would like answers.

In my opinion the Teo should not be able to be found with the goggles PERIOD... With how "rare" they drop whoever has the goggles has an advantage regardless if they drop in their own genus or not.. its not really fair to those of us who spend hours hunting the adoption center to find one.

googles are only adding an option to sort the search per genus, like it is now, that gives no advantages.
