Pets
As some of you have found out on your own and/or have seen from the scattered posts among the bugs, help, and admin forums... a few of the recent items currently aren't working.
These said items are...
-Random Rogr Potion*
-Dawn Crystal*
-Metal Crystal*
-Bottled Spring*
-Orange Crystal*
-Flame Crystal*
-Breeding Coin
-Gold Sprinkler
The items marked by a * are items that can be fixed by Slash and will hopefully be working again here soon. Everything else unfortunately has to be fixed by the coders themselves. Now that we actually know the reason for the problem with why these items no longer work we can help prevent this from happening again in the future.
On another note, my last news post asked for some suggestions on how to judge contests. I got a few PMs and some comments on the post... but I got an overwhelming amount of suggestions for actual contests rather than how to hold them. Two contests that were mentioned to me were a Photography Contest and a Crafting Contest. What are your thoughts on these? How should we judge them? Obviously any contest we hold that isn't based on luck or isn't random only caters to certain groups of people. Any ideas for other types of contests we can hold? How could we go about doing this?

MARC HAS DONE IT AGAIN! I love making sock poppets xD I have one of a dog named Chucho. But yeah that would be healpful. A fun category would be "How do Aywas breeed?" xD

Well first of all if you are giving things away for an example a new pet make it more fair and easy for you to use the ticket system.

I think it would be neat if we could have a photography caption contest? So you could arrange every day things in the picture, like apples/coconuts or chocolate milk, but the caption would make them relevant to Aywas. So either you could supply the photo and the caption and enter that in for the contest, or you can enter in a photo and then the contest could be to come up with the best caption? Maybe having a piece of paper with Aywas written on it in the corner of the photo could be a requirement too, to ensure they're not googled? - Eri

Pictures can be put together as a comic if people want. xD We can make many categories. "Pleasing the Aywas Gods" "Cooking with Chaos" "Poking Kaz" xD Anything is possible!

That would be fun MARC. We could provide lineart for different sets of eyes, tails and things that are attributed to different species for users who can only get a hold of glue and a sock. Users would just have to color and print and cut them out on their own... unless they want to use their own materials to make the sock species. :P
