Pets
As some of you have found out on your own and/or have seen from the scattered posts among the bugs, help, and admin forums... a few of the recent items currently aren't working.
These said items are...
-Random Rogr Potion*
-Dawn Crystal*
-Metal Crystal*
-Bottled Spring*
-Orange Crystal*
-Flame Crystal*
-Breeding Coin
-Gold Sprinkler
The items marked by a * are items that can be fixed by Slash and will hopefully be working again here soon. Everything else unfortunately has to be fixed by the coders themselves. Now that we actually know the reason for the problem with why these items no longer work we can help prevent this from happening again in the future.
On another note, my last news post asked for some suggestions on how to judge contests. I got a few PMs and some comments on the post... but I got an overwhelming amount of suggestions for actual contests rather than how to hold them. Two contests that were mentioned to me were a Photography Contest and a Crafting Contest. What are your thoughts on these? How should we judge them? Obviously any contest we hold that isn't based on luck or isn't random only caters to certain groups of people. Any ideas for other types of contests we can hold? How could we go about doing this?

Oh I love that idea. Cut out a picture of an Ay... either one of your own or one we supply for you and take a photo of it somewhere looking cool or interacting with what's in the image.

Sorry just saw Magey had same idea. I had wanted to do this as my own event. (Thought of it yesterday as I keep thinking of Aywas when I was outside shopping lol.) It's going to be fun.

I think paper dolls would be a good idea for photography, like Zebby said, or taking pictures of animals and plants that have a Aywas color. Like a red rose vyne, take a picture of a rose, blue crab insi, take a picture of a blue crab. There could be two catagories: Paper Dolls, and Real Life Colors.

A agree with Riyo. Though as far as I know, Clover Stones work for me... but I honestly don't see too much of a difference in what pets I encounter by rarity when I do/don't have one on. Bottled auroras... Unless I'm using them horribly wrong, they don't seem to work for me either.
Also, aren't the Personality Potions still fragging up as well (at least the Natural Personality Potions)? Or am I also handling those wrong?

The personality potions have actually yet to be coded. The explore items are kind of whacked because the whole explore feature is being reworked, yet again.

A crafting contest would be awesome. Assuming you mean like Aywas related Sculptures, Plushies, Blankets and stuff like that.
