Lesser Breeding Pendant
You might have noticed that your silver paws amount now links to the SP Shop. By Friday it should be fully functional and all contests will be awarded with SP. To celebrate the coming of the SP Shop, I'm giving away an LBP. LBPs are re-usable LBCs that allow you to breed two pets of the same species every month.
To enter this contest, please post about two pets that are mated (either both yours, or one is yours and one is a friend's) and how they met!

So when she tried out her new super cool, super powerful spell from her new super cool, super powerful book and saw that it was a dud, she swore everlasting vengeance on his soul. For how dare he trick her! She vowed to torture him for eons, bringing him to the brink of terror and back. And she always keeps her vows. Now that you know that, let’s get back to the story.

So it seems that K has finally found Creepzoid and she was not happy. She shoved her teeth (read: magically enhanced, SHARP and HONKING huge teeth) into his face and snarled. Creepzoid begged for his life. She, somehow, laughed while still showing her teeth. Meanwhile, D and his friends (plus little sister who tried hard to escape *coughDENYcough* but failed) stood there, stunned and watched it all. They watched as K dragged Creepzoid (pretty amazing thing for something the size of a housecat) to the bridge and dangled Creepzoid (again, pretty amazing for a little catbat) over the side. Now, that wouldn’t be so terrifying IF the bridge was a cute little thing over a little stream. No. This bridge spanned over a huge river and was miles long. Not to mention hundreds of feet ABOVE the water.

Anyways, so here she is, dangling Creepzoid over the edge. She lets go. She snatches him back. She tosses him up. She catches him. Like a little kitty playing with a mousie. She does this a couple of times while Creepzoid is shrieks for mercy and the whole town begins to gather at one end of the bridge, drawn towards the commotion. Someone gasps as she tosses him and lets him drop aaaaaaaaalmost to the edge…and grabs him. She’s grinning. K tosses him once more into the air and…..lets him drop into the raging river. Cue the sound of shrieks and fainting from gentle young ladies. She stands on her hind legs, puts her paws on the railing, and laughs evilly (read: mwahahahahahahahahahaha!). She then smirks and calls down to the drowning Creepzoid, “I hope you learned your lesson. Don't piss me off.”
Now is that a first meeting or no?

Morgan [1280] is the 'heir' to a string of casinos. For years now, he's been learning about the work for when he has to take over the business. Epimusesaniul (please, for the love of all things holy, call him Epi) [3499] is a rich brat from an old money family. He doesn't have to worry about anything and just wants to have fun. They met when Epi's parents where dragging him to the casinos to see if they want to invest in the business. However, they didn't really get along: Morgan had no sense of fun and Epi couldn't have a serious thought to save himself. But when their forced company turned into months, they began to see that there is more than the other than it seems. After a while, they started to date, and despite some pitfalls, have yet to regret the action. Epi has taken to making large and public displays of affection, while Morgan uses the more traditional wooing. So far, life has been pretty dang good for them, and they anticipate what the future holds for them.

(*blinks, rereads the 'roleplay/the stories' part, specifically the last word* Holy noodles, the backstories simmering in my brain might count! C: And if not, well, I needed an excuse to actually get them written down. Although I DO mean to RP these two eventually... x3

Zero and Demon were partnered together - Demon as Zero's mentor - when the female melo was dumped unceremoniously into the life of a rough-and-tumble gang member, belonging to a band of vicious melos. Ar first the sharp, sarcastic wit of the white Demon found the pair in various arguments, some of which led to scuffles, but the female melo soon proved her worth in the gang and to her mentor on several cold, haunting nights.

It was not the life she had expected upon arrival to this new town. However, her military background proved that the melo, however young, could handle herself well. She and Demon still skirted around the fact that something was developing between them, of course, and fended off the emotions with more banter and the occasional physical fight. It was only when the gang's leader - a man Zero had come to trust and respect - was killed and Zero's life thrown into shambles, that Demon began to show his softer side. Even if it had taken him more than a year. Now, the young melo is rising through the gang with determination and Demon is at her side. The pair of them may be unsure fully of what they mean to one another but there is no way they're being separated now...

Alright. Let’s add in some background information on who the catbat is and why she was so angry. I mean, otherwise, it just seems like the catbat’s some psycho who likes to torture, maim, and kill! *silence* Oooookay. So maybe she is all that but at least there’s a reason (good? bad? don’t matter) for what’s happening. The little catbat is K. It seems that Creepzoid had sold her a book several years ago. A book he swore was an extremely rare, valuable, ancient work of art filled with powerful spells. A magician’s DREAM. In reality, it was a piece of junk that he made with spells that he came up with. But it was a really well-made piece of junk. So well made, it fooled her completely. She fell for his spiel, hook-line-and-sinker. (*coughSUCKERcough*)
