Lesser Breeding Pendant
You might have noticed that your silver paws amount now links to the SP Shop. By Friday it should be fully functional and all contests will be awarded with SP. Part 1:
One day, while exploring the vast wilderness of the mountains, Breden got lost, as is often the case for him. Unlike his usual directionally-challenged adventures, he couldn't find his way back to town before his energy ran out. One last encounter with a Reve he frightened caused him to plummet down the waterways with no way out. His one hope was that he got back to the main river before he sustained any more damage.
Unfortunately, it seemed that Coyote was on duty at the moment, and Breden floated into a flooded ravine inhabited by a full bask of Rogr. It took the slumbering creatures a little bit to notice him, but they were wide awake and converging within moments after that. The sabre-toothed creatures seemed to follow a large Opalite Rogr by the name of Inamori who was having issues with some sort treaty he made with someone.

Part 2:
While they were debating over whatever agreement they had with someone else on the mountain and whether, or not, he fell under what they called the "no eat" list another melo wandered onto the cliffs surrounding the ravine. This melo did not seem to have a problem with the Rogr in the flooded ravine, and the rogr did not even pay her any attention. In fact, the two very different creatures had a sort of rapport. He did note, however, that he was kept shielded by a very large, scaled, body so that she would not see him.

Part 3:
That little trick, however, did not succeed for very long when the saucy female started asking the Rogr how they kept their scales so shiny and asked them to move around so she could see their scales from all angles. As soon as she saw Breden she demanded they give him up. Inamori made it very clear that he considered Breden fair game. The female informed the larger, sharp-toothed being that, according to the treaty they made, any creature claimed by their clan would be protected.
The female then introduced herself as Koti and led the poor, confused, male away from the ravine. A few feet beyond the trees Breden collapsed. It took Koti all of a few moments to notice that his problem was a lack of energy. She found him an ornamental fruit, made him eat it, and then proceeded to practically drag him to her clan.

Part 4:
Koti was a little nervous to introduce this strange male that she had pretty much claimed as hers, to her clan. The leader of the clan, a large Jaguar by the name of Taer, pretty much stared at him for long moments, bared his teeth and stalked away from him. Koti explained to Breden that Taer is rather anti-social and actually lives in the mountains in order to stay away from others and, specifically, to avoid Kaz and his cruel experiments; as well as Rogue's strange powers that her could tell the male before him had been subjected to. Breden did not quite understand it, but he pretended that he did.

Part 5:
Koti seemed to realize that he did not get it, but she ignored it in favor of introducing him to the other head male, a Corvus Reve by the name of Corax. Corax actually spoke to the confused and lost male who did not seem to realize what happened at the ravine. Corax had already heard what happened there and thought it was absolutely hilarious. Naturally, of course, he could not leave off the standard threat of "if you hurt her, you're dead". That, more than anything, led the two young Melos to have a conversation about what actually happened at the ravine.

Part 6:
Koti found herself having to explain to him that, in order to save him from the Rogr, she had to lay claim to him. In other words, she had to say that he was her mate. Otherwise, the Rogr would never have let him go.
Breden blew up for a few minutes, demanding to know why she would not ask him about it. It took Corax and another female melo by the name of Zerda to calm him down enough to remind him that he would have died had she not done that. Once reminded, he wandered off, followed by a Reve named Sula so he wouldn't get lost, in order to think about what happened.

Part 7:
By midday he returned with a single question: "When do we do this?"
It was later, after much explanation and two separate meals, that Breden found out that, no matter what was claimed, he would not be safe (and therefore could not leave) until the mating was official and they had kits.

Well, its quite simple. DJ (28573) had been living in my den for quite some time, when my friend happened to catch a melo I'd been after. After a swap, Bjorn (57733) became a member of the family. You can guess what happened from there. ;) Now they live together with one baby, the other baby lives with the friend who introduced Bjorn and DJ.

Stardust
was a dweller of the deep caves. Since birth she wasn’t interested in the outside world. She spent her time on playing with lizards or listening to the wind humming in the caves’ passageways. Those days would continue if she hadn’t heard that song… She was listening to the wing when she notices some other silent voice mixed with it. This was the first time and it made her curious. She was a little scared but she decided to follow the wind. With each step the song became clearer and louder. Suddenly she found herself standing at the entrance to the caves. And she became mesmerized. The sand under her paws was silvery under a great moon. The ocean was dark and the waves were shimmering quietly. And when she looked up – the sky was glittering with thousands of stars…
