Win a LBP!

Pets

Lesser Breeding Pendant

You might have noticed that your silver paws amount now links to the SP Shop. By Friday it should be fully functional and all contests will be awarded with SP. To celebrate the coming of the SP Shop, I'm giving away an LBP. LBPs are re-usable LBCs that allow you to breed two pets of the same species every month.

To enter this contest, please post about two pets that are mated (either both yours, or one is yours and one is a friend's) and how they met!

This will end on Wednesday at midnight.

Pt. 14

The shimmering steel and chrome

"I've been waiting for you my Crysi," Aura, the spirit of the lady who had loved her the longest, and no other, spoke to her with her heart. As a spirit now, they both looked the same, but as she was lifted up by magic, the sensation was being held tenderly, and a gentle kiss brushed across her forehead.

"I love you my darling, let us go home." And the two loving partners, with the years lost to them that sudden seemed unimportant, flew into the heavens, both of them feeling complete, two halves a a whole.

To a world where the season of giving never ends, as long as you can love.

For one old fashioned Christmas back home

Once upon a time in a land known as a the hatchling known as reco, (Recolitusunus) was sunning on the shores of west river's bay. Out of the corner of his eye, something shiny he did spy, her name he found out later (Perspicuusunus) captured him at first site. Their love is unrequited sadly you see, their owner lacks a breeding coin for hybrids to be..

I'd like to enter Kurai (id:57413) and Cleo (id:103851)
Kurai and Cleo are not your typical lovers, if they can be called that at all. Wait, let me rephrase that;"lovers" is too strong a word- they share a deep bond of unrequited love and unanswered hatred. The way this started out, fate must have had a hand in this pairing, for their joining was not a match made in heaven.
You see, Cleo was a well-adjusted, good mannered Melo - until her hormones struck a home-run. Beautiful lotus flowers are said to blossom from the murky depths of muddy ponds. Cleo blossomed from the relative comfort of the pet store into a rabid, clawed flytrap. She was confined to her own cage-for the safety of others.

Part 1:

It was the night of the lantern festival. Kiyo sat by a solitary lake in the mountains, and she lit her lantern in honor of her heritage and the past. In the town below, she could see the humans gathering to light their lanterns en masse. She knew now that as a dragon, it was no longer wise to appear to humans nor to join in their celebrations. What was once a beautiful traditional festival, a part of their heritage, was now little more than an excuse to party and get drunk. So she sat alone, enjoying the lights in the nightscape.

Pt. 2
Fate must have had a sense of humor; the fiery Cleo would have never escaped the Pet Shop had Xero not turned to help the new pair of customers and left the door ajar. All in all, it was a rather clean escape; Cleo ran for the door and, a few seconds later, she had fled the place unscathed.
Hey, hey! Don't be so picky! I said CLEO was unscathed- the bloodbath in the pet store was cleaned up.
It was only after several months of exploring, beating up Aywas, minions, and plants that Cleo reached the rainforest. And it was on that very day that fate must have a fit of giggles.

Part 2:

Qaphsiel flew through the night. The moonlight, night, was his favorite time. It was a time of quiet reflection. He could put all the trouble aside, and he could think through the problems of the day. As Qaphsiel flew through the mountains, he noticed a solitary point of light, and behind it, farther away, smaller, multiple lights flickered. A protector of all the creatures, Qaphsiel was so used to being by himself. He flew across the universes, but never settled long enough in one place to call it his home.

pt. 3
Kurai, the adventurous, majestic, nine-tailed kitsune melo was training on the very boundary of Aywas when he spotted the orange tabby Melo. Their eyes met and, as with all stories of this nature, that there was an eternity of silence.
In the safety of darkness, under the shining light of the stars, Kurai got his ass handed to him in a silver platter.

It really wasn’t his fault- he was much too love struck to even fathom the thought of defending himself. Cleo finished him off in the blink of an eye and was on her way before he hit the ground. Eventhough he was left bleeding, sore and embarrassed, Kurai would never forget her.

Part 3:
Tonight, looking at the single point of light, he felt the loneliness of it. There was a different energy in the night sky now and something shifted within him. He swooped down, wanting to get a better look. He flew down as conspicuous as possible, not wanting to startle whoever was there. He landed on the ground softly. In front of him, was a beautiful, shimmering, white dragon, her lantern blazing in the darkness. She turned to gaze at him in wonder. He took a step towards her.
"Hello, my name is Qaphsiel..."

pt. 4
A few suns moved across the sky and the Melos had another chance meeting. The gazed into each other’s eyes bellow the branches of the Phoenix tree, just as the full moon rose, and just when Cleo was feeling the effects of a sickness flower.
The eternal symbol for romance, the Aywa representation for new life, and a high fever were just enough for these two non-love stuck Melos to get down. As the sun rose, Kurai was quick to make his escape, lest he end up a father of god-know-what. Now, fate waits patiently, with a comic book in hand, hoping the next generation of entertaining Melos to make their debut.
