This pretty Ladybug Reet is now available in the BP Shop!
The Woolith may have left us as a Raw genus, but thanks to the preservation efforts of Team Hylian Muffins and one magical Slashbot, our wooly pet is not retiring! This team has chosen to place the Woolith in Ara as a common pet, so it can now be made with Orbs, found in explore, etc.

The Art Gallery has been judged!
The theme was Autumn in Ay and we had some adorable entries! Here are our winners:

This week's theme is Wood Carvings/Wood Sculptures.
Yes, this must be a physical carving or sculpture, not digital work. Remember to keep it Aywas related and to have your name and ID visible in the photo!
The Woolith will be departing from Raw Crystals tomorrow and we'll be introducing a new Raw genus, so get your customs in soon!
Some new raffles have begun!
Click on the pet to go to its raffle! If you win, you will receive the pet as a custom along with the item that is being raffled off.
These will be drawn at 12:01 a.m. on November 16th, which is a little over 24 hours from now.

Oh, and don't forget you still have a few hours to snag OCOs and OCCs from treasure chests and merchants! :3 I know it's kind of silly to be wrapping up Halloween things in November, but I wanted to make sure I followed through on everything I promised you guys. Yasu has been pretty ill for the last week or so, which is why there hasn't been as much progress as we'd like on the coding end of things, but I do have a couple announcements that you should like.
By now, you all should have received your complimentary Titbird Goodie Bag if you logged in for the event. Enjoy!
Titbird SCCs are currently being reviewed by staff for any potential art theft or copyright issues and will be sent out as soon as they can be.

Have you posted your custom-colored SCC on this thread yet?
Remember, you can submit one for yourself and one for a friend for free today only!
If you want any additional SCCs on the above base today, not only can you use MCCs/MCOs, OCCs/OCOs and CCCCs/CCCOs, but you can also now use the Bronze versions as well!
After today, you can still submit one of these titbirds, but you'll need a Silver Potion and Scara's permission.

11/11 - Remembrance Day & Veterans Day

Remembrance Day and Veterans Day are celebrated every year around the world to remember and honor those who have fought--and are still fighting--wars of many kinds. As each year passes, more veterans of war, active soldiers and links to history leave us, but their sacrifices and impact must never be forgotten.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
If you donate any amount to any veterans' fund of your choice, e-mail me the receipt or proof of purchase at [email protected] and I will send you one of these red poppy collectables. You have until the end of the 2011 calendar year to get your donation in and receive the item for your support.
Please take a moment out of your day to give these soldiers and their families a minute of silence and reflection for what they gave up so that we can enjoy our freedoms.
In a strange way, I always look forward to days of remembrance. Every year without fail, I work on Veterans Day, and last year I got to witness two strangers--two veterans of two different wars and two different generations--meet by chance and shake hands in a long moment of tearful understanding. Everyone in the store seemed to simultaneously stop what they were doing and become aware of these old soldiers, and saluted them in unison. It was one of the most touching and amazing things I've ever seen.
Come share a story about your experience with war or a veteran or active soldier in your life here.
