Have you been good this year? According to the German tradition of Belsnickel, if you've been good all year -- meaning, you'll get presents -- Belsnickel will put a bell on your headboard while you're sleeping one week before Christmas.
December 18th is one week before Christmas... visit the Belsnickel page every two hours on the 18th to collect bells.
If you collect all seven, you can turn them in on Christmas into the Collections feature for a prize. (:

He has created a couple of feel-good threads that I think are worth noting, such as the forum games Favourite Custom of the User Above You and Compliment the User Above You. Not only do these two games add to Aywas' sense of community, but the threads both encourage people to say something nice about a user they may not even know. I know that his Favourite Custom thread has led to several breeding opportunities and a few conversations some of us wouldn't have had otherwise; as well as inspired other forum games with similar themes. As for his Compliment thread, it can give a much-needed boost on a rough day and is a great way to see the good in people.
In addition, he's generous, kind, easy to talk to, and a great person to approach if you have any questions about custom-making or the site as a whole.

Adiel (#18786)
When I first joined Aywas I had no idea what I was doing and really needed a lot of help . I had not even gotten a chance to post an introduction in the forums when I received a notification that someone has sent me a message; that person was Adiel. Adiel ended up giving me three very nice pets plus several pieces of clothing for my HA. Because of Adiel's kindness and generosity I'm now trying to learn how to help others at Aywas as a way to pay it forward.

I'd love to be able to immortalize my two kittens on Aywas. However, the edits required to not make them look like angels, but normal kitties, are far out of my price range. I'd love two Gold Custom Orbs, which, aside from saving up and finding an artist for the edits, would put me right at my goal. It'd still be a ways off, but it'd be so much closer!

Why is this user a loved contributor? From making free pets for people to helping me and others with our designs. Dae has always been there for me and is a super kind user. She goes out of her way to make others happy and never asked for anything in return. Like the time she made me a custom based off my cat who had died to help make me feel better. I would buy her whole wishlist if I could :)

Beer #728
No HA
So this might be a bit awkward, because I've never spoken to Beer before but... I have to nominate her! I think it's safe to say that if you've been here long enough, you can recognize the pets done by Beer. :3 And it's quite a hefty list. As far as I'm aware of, I haven't seen a Beer pet designs thread anywhere. Why am I mentioning this? Beer makes site pets. Pets that can be available to all users when she could be selling them for an obscene amount of in-game currency (because I'm also sure there are some folks out there who would love a Beer custom design, am I right?). She even stated on the forums she works on them ahead of time and you can tell with all that detail (she uses a mouse! o_o omg how ... wow) there must be a lot of work going into them. All for site contributions. Site. Add to that her lair is free for breeding and she welcomes any questions. If that's not contributing, I don't know what is! I don't think aywas would be quite the same without Beer and I think she deserves to be recognized for her hard work. :3 <3

A Steampunk Finn. I know it's a lot to wish for, but these guys are just so adorable yet so unreachable~ It's one thing to actually get the potion, but a whole different thing to have a guarantee of getting a Steampunk one.

Trivia and Tidbits
Site Update
The trivia has been updated!
Raffle Crystals will be run and cleared as soon as I pester Slash into doing it. X3
Users with orange posts no longer have to worry about puking all over the forums!
(And that pesky bug that ate all name colors on the forums has been fixed.)
We're still doing a lot of work and have a lot of exciting things coming up, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, we're finishing up Nano prizes, Cancer and Titbird customs as well as Metal Event payments and all that jazz. :3
