No Scav results here - just me'n some pets! Sorry to disappoint. :D
Next week I want your ugly and possibly your disease Phanto, Reve and Soli designs! As always you can pick up the PSDs from the Pet Colourations forum. You will receive 10 GP per accepted colouration instead of the usual 3 GP.
If you're still waiting on a reply from me for something you've sent over the past few days, fear not! I have been busy busy since the Scav ended (travelling long distances on two hours of sleep is not something I'd recommend) and aim to resume normal service on Monday or Tuesday when I return home.

Plio, a new raw pet

The Plio is the new raw pet. Staff discussed the way that the raw pet system works and it will be changing from the Plio on:
Raw pets will no longer, beginning with the Plio, be voted into an area. They will retire from the Raw item after their two months have passed. Every year on a yet undetermined date, all the retired Raw pets will be placed back into the Raw crystals for some sort of Raw Crystal Day. You can look forward to that day to make all the retired raw pets.
The Opterix is not affected by this change. You can vote on the Opterix below. You can choose to retire it like the Plio will be if you want, but the other options are there for you to choose from as well.
Begin making Plios by grabbing a Raw Crystal from the Cash Shop or another user.
You can find the Plio default in the BP Shop, and the PSD in the All Pet Genuses page, as normal.

As well, the new Plush set was released into the Plush Store. Spense informed me that he's too lazy to let you know himself. :p

Some other news:
1. We are still working out what to give out for Vamp/Zombie prizes. So far we have a few new battledome item ideas and some HA items. We could also release some vamp/zomb themed pets. If you have any ideas, let us know by posting them to this news post, we really need some!
2. Scav Hunt grading is underway. If you watch your list you should see admin comments and points popping up.
3. We figured out what's causing the 502 Gateway errors and will fix it when we see Yasu next. Hopefully that's soon!

Scavenger Hunt ends in approximately 3 Hours.
Please make use of this remaining time to ask any last questions in the questions forum (I will be going through it once more, then that's it). Please make an effort to ensure your List Submission questions are using HTML, also, as that makes life a whole lot easier in grading. Failure to use HTML means it'll take me longer to grade your list and you won't get a grade back as promptly.
Also-- don't forget the list submission is automated, so as soon as the clock hits midnight it's going to close. Don't wait until the last minute. Don't wait until the last minute for the Effort Prize thread either, because that'll close at midnight as well!
The new Plush Set will come tomorrow so you can finish up Scav and go see that new HP movie. ;)

Chat is Awesome, so is fixing bugs!
Site Update
Alright, so after testing today, I've finally released the new Chat and App bar to the general public. There's a wide-range of features, and it's sure to keep you occupied. If however, you do not want this application available to you, you can go to your UCP, edit your account, and disable the Chat Bar at any time. Don't worry, you can re-enable it at any time as well.
As for upcoming features. NO MORE!!! Me and my team are taking a break from any new features, throwing them on the back burner, and making sure this site is running at it's best as soon as possible! So, post in the new bugs board when you come across any, and we'll be sure to get right to them! Thanks guys!

I just heard something interesting. Apparently, if you add the following user to your friends list, something cool will appear on the site for you to try out, before we make our final decision on releasing it..... Or something along those lines ;) Rumor has it, if you add this user to your friends list, you will be able to do a lot of cool things with the rest of your friends!

30 minutes from now (2AM Aywas Time) the FORUMS will go offline for a period of 30-60 minutes while I test a method of optimization, in hopes of limiting or extinguishing our lag issues, which are currently associated with the Forums. During this time the site will NOT go offline.

Saturday Explore Pets - Sunday edition!

Aha! Thought you were safe, did you?!
You had a day's respite because I couldn't access the pet panel to upload these critters on Saturday evening. Now you may pick up your pitchforks and get ready to lynch me for adding new pets in the middle of the Scavenger Hunt. >:D
We're looking for Gaels, Insis and Melos next week, folks! Don't forget that if you submit a colouration for any of the three between now and Friday, you'll receive 10 GP per accepted design instead of the usual 3 GP.
Lastly, since it seems some of you lovely lot have been asking - you're more than welcome to write with Moreev for any of your Scavenger tasks! ♥
