This is Halloween! .. Well, almost!

You guys didn't think the Seasonal Shop was the only thing planned for Halloween, right? *wink*
The Seasonal Shop currency will remain BP, but I think it's close enough to the holiday to let you in on a couple of secrets! I'm not about to give away all the surprises, though.
Orbs will be a currency for a mystery shop.
Hang on to some of your Haunted Pumpkins! The ones you don't use in the lab will turn into a HA item.
Orange Custom Crystals and Orange Custom Orbs will be findable in the Haunted House for three days only: October 30th, 31st and November 1st.
The Trash Shop will have some special things in it for Halloween as well!
If you don't want to dump those plants you've been harvesting, I might have a bonus use for those too.
Anyone just a tad more excited about Halloween now? :3

Raffle Crystal Winner!
This week's Raffle Crystal winner is:

Who had 25 crystals out of 21,822 total and won a Melo Figurine!
This week's prize: A full set of NPC charms!
Black acrylic, two inches tall. Pretty neat, eh?
They'll also be for sale for general purchase soon!
I know you're all looking forward to the Seasonal Shop, which will be opening on the 31st for our Halloween extravaganza!
Slash didn't plan for a special holiday currency since we have the lab and cauldron this year, so the shop will be using good ol' fashioned BP.
Frankenstein's Lab
Has had some new pets added!
I'll probably add some more pets to the lab on Halloween. :3
Just a quick update on the coding aspect of things: Yasu has been suffering some extensive Internet troubles for the last week, which is why we haven't had as many updates in that area as we'd like. We're hoping things get back to normal for him soon!
Have fun creating those new pets!

New pets!
Pets
Let's pretend today is Saturday for a couple of minutes, because I have new explore pets!
But, before we go any further, I do want to mention that Adventure only has four locations open right now on purpose. People were taking advantage of the high-leveled, wild Rainforest pets, but I assure you that your favorite locations will re-open when the Haunted House closes down for the season! Now, onto the lovely new pets for this week:
If you're in need of a little extra GP, why not try coloring some Rogrs or Lacers this week for the 10 GP incentive? Swing by the Pet Coloration Submissions forum to enter your designs!
We apologize for the lack of new explore pets lately, but I know the Haunted House has been keeping you guys pretty busy! Payment for previously accepted colorations will be tended to as timely as it can be. Remember to contact Visark (185) for all your payment and pet copy needs! She should be back to making her fun announcements soon!

Kuitsuku, our site artist, is going to be having a livestream session today where she'll be drawing your Halloween-themed customs! It will last from 6 PM AST - 8 PM AST.

I also have a small coder-related update for you! Zander, whom you probably know as Rebel, is still MIA. He has been replaced with Aggie, who will be working on a ton of features that are owed to us throughout October and November. Maaaybe something to do with HAs and something to finally use those handguns for! .. Wait, that came out wrong. Those are two separate features, we're not going to be using handguns with HAs any time soon. XD
Don't worry, Yasu will still be our fixes guru and that is still the priority. As soon as I chat with him a little later tonight, I'm hoping to have some more updates in that arena.
Alright, time for me to head off to work! Have fun with Risk and Kuitsuku!

Shiny Updates!

Ooh, shiny keys!
Congratulations to those of you who opened the first 100 chests!
That's all folks, nothing more to see here, pack up and go home.
Oh, wait a second. You're right. I said the first 100 chests, didn't I? Meaning not all the chests ever.
If your heart is fluttering at the prospect of more treasure chests overflowing with goodies, you have good reason, because we will be sporadically refilling the chests with new prizes! They won't have things like pendants in them again, but they'll hold some pretty good pickin's if you ask me. :3
Just a reminder that our Cancer Awareness Charity Drive is still going strong!
These pets are limited edition, so your last chance to donate to get the Drylis, Reve, Suune or Velox will be October 21 at 11:59 PM Aywas time.
(If you cannot donate by that time because of a late paycheck or something, PM me and we'll talk.)
In case you're still looking for a charity to contribute to, here's a list to give you ideas:
