Due to some reports coming in, the earlier Scavenger Hunt results are now considered tentative. Two admins are going to be going through the top thirteen teams to investigate the reports sent to us.
As soon as we have results (whether the same or altered) we'll let you know. In the meantime, the prize shop will be delayed as we investigate.

The theme was Fake Aywas Videogame Screenshots and I am legitimately sad that these don't exist as actual videogames. XD Everyone had great ideas and I loved seeing all the interpretations!

Lunar Meteor Lights

I have a Lunar Meteor update for you, but before I get to that, I wanted to share a personal anecdote with you that just so happens to coincide with the magic of this region.
You always hear stories about people seeing strange things in the sky, whether it's another planet, a stealth plane or other flying object, or an actual meteorological event, but about the most exciting thing I've ever seen in the sky is a bat--and even then, I'm not 100% positive it was one.
Tonight though, I looked out the window to see glowing lights off in the distance moving toward my house. At first I couldn't tell how high they were in the air, but it was clear that they were moving quickly, all following the same path, one after the other in a seemingly endless stream of flickering light. I realized that they were moving with the wind, and they were lower than I originally thought, but they were definitely literally flickering like a candle. That's when we realized they were lanterns! I don't know where they were being released from or why, but they were beautiful. I couldn't have picked a more perfect night to see them, either. :3

5 new pets have been added to the region to round out our zodiac pets and the new colorations for the region this year!
We have also added the Lunar Meteor Day Wallpaper to the Advent Calendar! You can collect it any time on August 18th (tomorrow).
For you night owls, you'll find the night version of the wallpaper in the Advent Calendar on the following day (August 19th).

Scavenger Hunt - Corrections Period
Site Update
All the judges have reported their tasks have been graded for Scavenger Hunt. Now begins a forty-eight hour period where teams may contest a grade they were given or make a case for correcting any proof mistakes.
Please be aware that a proof or task correction will not be accepted if it doesn't display a timestamp on it or on the website it was uploaded indicating it was done during scavenger hunt week.
If a team lost points on an entry and would like to contest it, they may make a case to the judge in the judge's thread. However, the judge's response ruling is final and no further discussion will be had after that ruling or the end of the forty-eight hour period.
Pretty soon we can crunch numbers and reveal the winners! Stay tuned!

You can see all fifteen by going to the Aywapedia and sorting by Newest--and filtering for Lunar Meteor helps too.
(Also as another little fix, and to help you in your User Shop pet searches, we've added the missing Vespa and Flux genuses to the dropdown as options.)
