Yena Update!
Pets
It seems that the Yena has escaped from the confines of Antiquity Staves!
Team 1337 has chosen to use their Raw Revival Genus Voucher from Scavenger Hunt on the pet they brought to life for us.
The Yena is now a Common genus and can be found in the region of...
Ara!
And is therefore now creatable with Orbs and eligible for future hybrids. :)
(I believe I updated all custom items accordingly, but please let me know if you run into one where the Yena should be available in the dropdown but isn't, or vice versa. Thanks!)

Art Gallery
Contests
The art gallery has been reset for a new week!
We did not receive any qualifying entries in the timeframe for the Aywas Love Triangles theme, so we are going to go ahead and proceed with the next one. :) (I think we'll retry that theme in February. *wink*)
The current theme is Business Cards!
This can be any medium you like and can be for any Aywas-related "business," but there's a lot of room for interpretation. You can make a card for an Adventure merchant, an NPC/shop clerk, a pet, etc.! You can even do something like Rosetta makers, geode miners, random potion brewers and so forth. Have fun with it. :3
We have also adjusted some theme dates and added new ones!

Three breeding items are seeing a re-release for these next two days -- the Evil Breeding Coin, the Engagement Ring, and the Breedable Potion. Pebbles are now back as well and will remain in the GP Shop until January 1.

I have a few quick reminders for everyone. :3
The December BP Shop and December GP Shop threads are wrapping up tonight at 11:59 p.m.! We will also be opening a holiday pet submission thread soon, so if a (holiday or wintery/seasonal) pet you submit for one of these contests does not get selected, you will have another opportunity to enter it for site use. c:
Our submission thread for December Monthly Customs is also closing tonight at 11:59 p.m. Be sure to share your "favorite things" with us!
NaNoWriMo 2013 is also closing its books tonight at 11:59 p.m., so be sure to get those last-minute scrawls down!
And finally, make sure you get your vote in for the official Puggle here by 11:59 p.m. this evening!

GP Announcements!
Site Update
We are so, so excited to announce that we now support two new payment processors -- Google Wallet and Amazon Payments! The brand new Purchase GP Page displays the new payment processors.
It was a long, hard battle against API monsters and IPN beasts, but we've finally succeeded and we're very excited about it! More choice is always good, right? :)
Oh, we're also happy to announce that Paintbrushes are officially automated. No longer shall you have to wait to receive one.
We hope you enjoy the new payment processors! It's been suggested many times to offer an alternative to PayPal and we're happy to finally have that up and working :)
