Super Rad Custom Crystal
Due to popular request, the Alt-Lines in Oopsie Fields have been loaded into this Super Rad Custom Crystal!
You can see the lines and PSD's in This KB
You can pick them up until the end of the month in the BP and GP shops.
Note: They do not allow line-breaking edits, but do allow any edits that clip to the base and don't obscure the lineart.
They are silver edited from all other lines and alt-lines of the same genus, thus cannot be LBC to other lineart of the same genus.
Egg Field
The Egg Field has been loaded with some goodies by the admin staff. More will be loaded in randomly over the weekend, so if you don't find any now, check back! These will be a mix of low and high-ticket items, like custom makers, alcoholic items, potions, and more!

A Small Addition
You might have noticed a small quality-of-life (QOL) update to the Egg Field—specifically on the Deposit a Pet page.
Changes like this are now tentatively being opened up through the
Suggestions Forum.
Please make sure to review:
[READ] Suggestions Etiquette & Dead Ends
which has been updated with an addition to Rule 7:
"Small quality-of-life coding can be suggested for existing site features that reflect things already used elsewhere on the site."
What this means
This is a trial run to allow small QOL improvements using already existing, stable systems from other parts of the site.
For example, the Egg Field update follows this logic:
Does this functionality already exist elsewhere? Yes (Custom Pet overlay search)Does it solve a common user issue? YesWhat is NOT included
Large changes, new features, or anything requiring entirely new systems will still not be approved.
These types of updates are being saved for the recode. It doesn’t make sense to heavily modify old systems when a new, more modular structure is already in development.
How to make a good suggestion
Before posting, consider:
Does this already exist somewhere else on the site?Does it solve a problem many users experience?Do users avoid using a feature because of this issue?Suggestions that meet these points are much more likely to be considered.
A note on implementation
These small updates will not be handled by the new developer.
They will be implemented solely by Kandria, in order to:
keep the developer focused on the recodeavoid slowing down long-term progressBecause of this, this initiative is tentative and will be kept to a manageable scope.

After which point, at any time, all PSDs from the previous sale will be wiped, so please double check that you have everything downloaded from the Claimed Archive. You will have until 11:59 PM AST April 17th, to do so. or risk the PSD being gone.

The Mephis is currently the active Raw genus, which means that you can purchase the Rainbow Rocker Mephis in the BP Shop! It will remain the active genus until May, so be sure to make a note of this in case you wish to make any!
Additionally, submissions for the Mayday Exotic Sale are currently open! If you're interested in creating a set for the sale, you can review the application process at the bottom of this news post.
As a reminder, the submission threads for the Spring Festival are currently open in the Event forum! If you would like to submit any pets, items, or clothing pieces, you will have until 11:59 PM AST on April 17th to do so.
The Egg Field is now open!
For those those of you who may be new to our spring festivities, the Egg Field is where you may put an item or pet into an egg to deposit into the field so that you may try your luck choosing another egg to open! Everything you deposit and receive will be logged, but only for the duration of the event, so please be sure to note down and download anything you want to continue to have access to after the event ends!
Remember, as with all events where we allow you to input your own message, you must follow the Terms of Service - this includes not using any language or images that would require an M (Mature) tag. Please note that religion also falls under this tag. If you collect an egg that you feel breaks the rules, please report it to a member of staff.

Welcome… to chaos?
We have a few tips for surviving today. First up: don't forget your towel.
Second, scoot over to Advent to find a strange treat waiting.
You may notice a few things have mysteriously rolled into your inventory.
If you have any… explusions… you may want to stop by The Museum to turn them in.
You might also find some highly sought-after coins in the shops:
GP Shop or BP Shop
(50 in each shop — once they're sold out, they're gone!)
Time for some chaotic risk.

What is Risk?
Risk is a forum game where, at the start time, users can post for a chance at rewards… or risk losing something or having other unfortunate things happen to their account.
The risks and rewards are always clearly posted.
Will you risk it?
There seem to be some... oddities appearing in Adventure.
Something has escaped quarantine. Staff are asking for help rounding them up… before it spreads.
So far, a perimeter has been set To this Adventure Zone to keep it contained.
During this... incident… it appears a few things have also gone missing. If you spot anything unusual lying around, please keep your distance and report it to your nearest staff member.
And most importantly: please do not attempt to shove any of it into the site systems. We do not know what it might mutate into, no matter who may want to collect it.
Above all, stay safe out there.
Oh and you might want to Look around, A few other , Places. Just to be sure, nothing has rolled away or escaped.
If you notice anything else unusual today… Don't worry. Chaos appears to be functioning normally.
Edit:
The shopkeepers have united to help hunt down and capture some of the more dangerous escapees. Please see them for assistance in rounding them up.
(Oddities will remain until 5/1 for users to fully investigate and Staff to get things... back where they belong.)
(Also a HUGE shoutout to the artists who came out of the woodwork to make this event larger than we could have hoped)

Site Update
Small but important update to the Trading Post!
A small but persistent bug affecting some bulk trades has been identified and fixed. In rare cases where very large quantities of items were traded, the trade could complete incorrectly and not all items would transfer as expected. Because trades of this size are uncommon, the issue appeared only occasionally.
The underlying issue has now been patched. To help prevent similar problems and keep the system stable, a quantity cap has also been added. Trades attempting to include more than 25,000 of a single item will now return an error and will not proceed.
The Trading Post Guidelines have been updated to reflect this limit. They now also include the previously unstated limit of 10 different item types per trade.
If you encounter any glitches or unexpected behavior, please continue reporting them in the Glitches and Issues forum so staff can investigate and address them safely.

Recode : Starting Over
Site Update
Hi all, I am posting to provide an update regarding the recode. Staff realise this is very overdue, and we are thankful for your continued patience and support.
Over the past year, we have been quiet about the status of the recode out of respect for real-life circumstances impacting our main coder, Yasu. Despite our attempts to reach out, we haven’t been able to contact Yasu and no longer have access to the recode files. The work was being done on a private sandbox server without shared access, which is a mistake we didn’t anticipate. It has served as a hard lesson for us, and we are sorry that it’s had to affect you all.
When coding responsibilities shifted unexpectedly, I stepped in to maintain the live site. While I can manage the existing website, a full recode is unfortunately above my skills. Currently, hiring a senior developer or firm to do the recode is out of our budget, as a site of Aywas scale and complexity requires significantly more funding than we have after our current expenses. We don’t have any plans to crowdfund at this time, though it has been discussed. Currently, it just doesn’t feel right to ask more of the community who has been along for the ride with us.
On a more positive note, we've recently connected with a developer who has kindly taken on the recode as a side project and has already helped us with some of Aywas’ many hiccups. They are starting from square one, using our previously established roadmap. The beginning of this roadmap includes mostly backend work, such as the Breeding Control Panel (BCP) Registration and Sessions.
While restarting isn’t ideal, staff will continue to maintain the site within the constraints of the current code while the recode progresses.
We would also like to thank Yasu for his work over the years and wish him all the best.
