Melo Figurines

Pets

So, anyone who's been on the forums (specifically Aywas Talk) will have seen that I'm playing with the idea of getting melo figurines made. Why melos? Prototype development for figurines is very expensive, so we can only have one figurine at this time if we want one, and melos have the most colors and the most popularity. :)

Anyway, the figurines would be three inches, solid vinyl with that beautiful vinyl smell. They will be packaged in a box that gives you a random melo figurine of 10 different colors, so every box will be full of excitement. *flail*

Aside from that, there will be pure white melo figurines available for you to color on with markers, paint, etc and make your own customs. We can have monthly or bi-monthly "melo custom figurine" contests if enough people are interested in coloring white figurines for prizes. :)

Here are the colors we've tentatively chosen. I say tentatively in that you can give me suggestions for replacing out a color with another color, and if enough people agree it'll be done. :)

In closing, before any of this can happen (and I hope it can, man, I want a ton of these things all over my room and house... everywhere you turn--MELO!), there needs to be sufficient interest from the userbase. So, poll time! Keep in mind that USD buyers would be first, so if you CAN use USD (or any other PayPal supported currency, lol) pick that first before GP!

Melo figurines, around $7-$10 (and might be released for GP later)
I want one (or more) and I can pay USD!

I'm not interested in these

The trading cards are still on the list of cool ideas, but since they require so much custom art and templating, they might be be around for a while - just for anyone wondering!

You need to put the Binary Melo in there somewhere. =B

I'd be more likely to buy these if I could order specific ones. I'm not too fond of the idea of receiving random figurines as I don't really like a couple of the colors.

I wish there was a Seacoon Melo. That was my first non-petshop Aywa, and he's been my main explorer ever since. ^_^ But I'd definitely buy one. I love all the new merch that we'll be getting here!

Personally, I love this idea! -noms on violently- And I do agree with many of the people here - Sugar Skull would look super awkward on a figurine and I'm not fond of the coloration period, and the Vampire-ness would be lost without the fangs D: So remove those two, and replace with Golden Tiger (it's a natural coloration, but it's bright enough to be wonderfully eye-pleasing and cute) and Cherry Blossom Tiger, Cyborg or just plain Tiger Melos would be great :3

I'm looking forward to these. I think the price is fine, 3 inches is going to be a good size figurine. :D I'm looking forward to these.

I much dislike the sugar skull (actually not too keen on the vampire either, or the zombie, but don't have a big issue with them like I do with the sugar skull) so I would vote for swapping that one out with banana swirl or cherry blossom tiger or one of those.

LOVE this idea~!

I think its only natural that we put a Kitsune melo in there! I mean come on! ;D Or maybe some of the new melos like the dawn breeze ones or whatever there called :] Switch out the heatwave and zombie ones maybe.

I'd be disappointed to pay 10 bucks for a blank figurine. Maybe if a colored one AND a blank one came maybe. But it would be random. More excitement :P
