Melo Figurines

Pets

So, anyone who's been on the forums (specifically Aywas Talk) will have seen that I'm playing with the idea of getting melo figurines made. Why melos? Prototype development for figurines is very expensive, so we can only have one figurine at this time if we want one, and melos have the most colors and the most popularity. :)

Anyway, the figurines would be three inches, solid vinyl with that beautiful vinyl smell. They will be packaged in a box that gives you a random melo figurine of 10 different colors, so every box will be full of excitement. *flail*

Aside from that, there will be pure white melo figurines available for you to color on with markers, paint, etc and make your own customs. We can have monthly or bi-monthly "melo custom figurine" contests if enough people are interested in coloring white figurines for prizes. :)

Here are the colors we've tentatively chosen. I say tentatively in that you can give me suggestions for replacing out a color with another color, and if enough people agree it'll be done. :)

In closing, before any of this can happen (and I hope it can, man, I want a ton of these things all over my room and house... everywhere you turn--MELO!), there needs to be sufficient interest from the userbase. So, poll time! Keep in mind that USD buyers would be first, so if you CAN use USD (or any other PayPal supported currency, lol) pick that first before GP!

Melo figurines, around $7-$10 (and might be released for GP later)
I want one (or more) and I can pay USD!

I'm not interested in these

The trading cards are still on the list of cool ideas, but since they require so much custom art and templating, they might be be around for a while - just for anyone wondering!

I do like the idea, but I live in Australia and I'm a little worried about the shipping price o3 o; I'd totally buy one if they were sold for GP though. I'm not too sure about buying one in AUD
I'm in agreeance with a few other people. I'm not too fond of the Vampire and Zombie. I'd however love a... Skeleton Melo, Night Sway Melo and/or Dawn Breeze Melo =3
And of course a natural coloration. Though, o3o; It'd be cool if you did a fantasy mystery pick as well as a natural coloration mystery pick.

WHAT? Keep in the Zombie! But like everyone else.... Sugar Skull... No. I like the idea of a Seacoon instead C8 Like, make it glow-in-the-dark type of thing. Or something.

Honestly, if you have to switch out two of these, I'd say switch the Zombie and Vampire - the Zombie stitches and blood don't seem like they'd carry too well over onto a plastic figure and the Vampire wouldn't have teeth, so it wouldn't really be a Vampire. Lol~, the ONLY reason I'd buy these would be to get the Sugar Skull. I think it'd actually look REALLY SUPER CUTE on a vinyl figure, considering that the curve of the muzzle would, you know, make the teeth look like teeth. :I

Honestly I would only be interested in buying any if the Sugarskull STAYED, as it is my favourite melo colouration. BUT UH I am with most people on the Zombie one; I actually do really love the colour, but I do not think the blood would carry over too well. Could also do without the Oceandark and Pink Poison, though that is just my not-liking-those-colourations-too-much side speaking xD I think a Cyborg Melo would be absolutely awesome though~

If you switch out the Pink Poison I will never forgive you!!
I adore them so much!

I love this idea, especially if you can later on buy them for GP as well, but I have one concern. Though the idea for a random figurine in a box is nice, it's not a very good one. If one buys several boxes and gets a few doubles that'd just plain suck. I mean, you can say that you could trade with other users but.. honestly, with shipping and all that I doubt anyone would ever do that.
Random is fun, but in this case I'd like to know what I'd buy.

Wayyy delayed: "I don't think I've ever seen a retail store sell a three inch vinyl figure for $1. o___O Maybe like... a piece of crap hard plastic figure, lol, but maybe not even that. O_O Flea market, lol." Lovely me, I completely read the post wrong. xD I didn't read 'vinyl' and I misinterpreted the "They will be packaged in a box that gives you a random melo figurine of 10 different colors". But I googled "3" Vinyl Figurines" and saw from $7-30 EACH, so this seems reasonable too. I will have to wait ad see the quality of the final product first, but I will probably end up getting at least one.

The idae is very nice. I really do enjoy this idea but I don't have ten dollars or GP. Plus I am not willing to pay ten dollars for three inch figurines. Can't they be at least five inches or so. If it is possible the price would be more reasonable. I also googled "3 vinyl figurines". Lol. It was my mistake. I like the designs of the fugurines but im simply dont want to pay that much for such small figurunes.
