So, anyone who's been on the forums (specifically Aywas Talk) will have seen that I'm playing with the idea of getting melo figurines made. Why melos? Prototype development for figurines is very expensive, so we can only have one figurine at this time if we want one, and melos have the most colors and the most popularity. :)
Anyway, the figurines would be three inches, solid vinyl with that beautiful vinyl smell. They will be packaged in a box that gives you a random melo figurine of 10 different colors, so every box will be full of excitement. *flail*
Aside from that, there will be pure white melo figurines available for you to color on with markers, paint, etc and make your own customs. We can have monthly or bi-monthly "melo custom figurine" contests if enough people are interested in coloring white figurines for prizes. :)
Here are the colors we've tentatively chosen. I say tentatively in that you can give me suggestions for replacing out a color with another color, and if enough people agree it'll be done. :)
In closing, before any of this can happen (and I hope it can, man, I want a ton of these things all over my room and house... everywhere you turn--MELO!), there needs to be sufficient interest from the userbase. So, poll time! Keep in mind that USD buyers would be first, so if you CAN use USD (or any other PayPal supported currency, lol) pick that first before GP!
The trading cards are still on the list of cool ideas, but since they require so much custom art and templating, they might be be around for a while - just for anyone wondering!

Haha oops! I guess I read it wrong, I didn't realize it was just one. Realizing that now, I'm unsure of that price, I don't know if I'd be willing to pay that much for one figure. ^^;;

Why redo the poll? [p]
(1) Many people want to know exactly what they are getting with their money. For ex, the only pet I have put out real money for was one I loved in the GP shop. I don't put out real money to buy the monthly random pet bottles, because there is usually one or two I don't care for. my luck I would buy three bottles and get three of my least liked pet. [p]
(2) Having seen other sites loose their tail doing this, it may be best to start with one extremely awesome melo that 99% of the people like, find out your start up costs and do a pre-sale, holding payments in escrow until you have enough. [p]
(3) As with the n__pet stuffed animals sold in real life and with the stuffed animal sold a few years ago by su___a, I would be willing to buy ones that I liked and came out well for the younger nieces and nephews.

Woo 8D I see quite a few colours I listed up there xD I was trying to list more of the original fantasy colours, as I feel those really represent aywas to me xD They were the only really "fantasy" ones that were out then. :3 Though heatwave may be a little difficult, so I may suggest Lava or Golden Tiger instead. And nightblood instead of vampire, because you said there couldn't be any edits right? So the fangs wouldn't show up. :/ -trying to replace with similar colours-

I would actually be really stoked about these; I love the trading card idea but I've always been more of a figurine person, will definitely pick a few of these up when I have the money. XD Much want for the Dandelion Melo (one of my favorite site colors!) and the prospect of blanks to be hand painted. As for color suggestions, I'm going to broken record others and say natural colors plz? D8 Red Panda, omg. Also, I'd say Ebony or Nightblood in place of the Vampire, since it'd be hard to edit in the fangs.. and its just not the Vampire without those. -Fly

I love the idea of figurines and I am very happy that you chose the melo as the model.
That said, I would not spend $7-10 for a mystery box. The Sugar Skull creeps me the eff out and I would be upset to get one of those. I agree with what others have said about the vampire. Without the fangs it just isn't a vampire any more. I like the other color choices though. I personally would prefer Sugar Skull, Vampire, and Heatwave to be replaced with Stitched, Music Vision, and Banana Swirl. If the price could be kept around $5 and we had a choice which ones we could purchase I would consider buying a couple (or more).

As if I don't already have a Melo addiction...but I LOVE this idea. I would totally buy some and put them all over my apartment! Poor roomie...she'll have to see Melo's staring at her from all over XD

I think the Sugar Skull, Zombie and Vampire ones should be removed. The Zombie always looked more like a bloody plush to me. xD I do think there should be a few natural colored Melos in the mix. Unless you plan to do collections, like 'Nature Collection' and 'Limited Collection.' I would love to see Red Panda as a figure.
