Melo Figurines

Pets

So, anyone who's been on the forums (specifically Aywas Talk) will have seen that I'm playing with the idea of getting melo figurines made. Why melos? Prototype development for figurines is very expensive, so we can only have one figurine at this time if we want one, and melos have the most colors and the most popularity. :)

Anyway, the figurines would be three inches, solid vinyl with that beautiful vinyl smell. They will be packaged in a box that gives you a random melo figurine of 10 different colors, so every box will be full of excitement. *flail*

Aside from that, there will be pure white melo figurines available for you to color on with markers, paint, etc and make your own customs. We can have monthly or bi-monthly "melo custom figurine" contests if enough people are interested in coloring white figurines for prizes. :)

Here are the colors we've tentatively chosen. I say tentatively in that you can give me suggestions for replacing out a color with another color, and if enough people agree it'll be done. :)

In closing, before any of this can happen (and I hope it can, man, I want a ton of these things all over my room and house... everywhere you turn--MELO!), there needs to be sufficient interest from the userbase. So, poll time! Keep in mind that USD buyers would be first, so if you CAN use USD (or any other PayPal supported currency, lol) pick that first before GP!

Melo figurines, around $7-$10 (and might be released for GP later)
I want one (or more) and I can pay USD!

I'm not interested in these

The trading cards are still on the list of cool ideas, but since they require so much custom art and templating, they might be be around for a while - just for anyone wondering!

Yeah, not sure if I would buy them with these prices, although I can afford it, as I'm not really a fan of the fantasy colors. Also I feel like the heatwave and the Vampire would be very similar since the Vampire would not have any fangs due to them all using the same mold.

I hate the sugar skull coloration, always have. But personal preference aside, what about another, more colorful fantasy coloration? Brown and orange isn't the prettiest. I really like Zugara's idea. I'd pay money for a Cherry Blossom Tiger pattern.

Though, I am agreeing with some of these tiger suggestions XD Most of my figurines that I do have are tigers. I'm slightly obsessed with them :( ~Kirema

Well, it depends on the cost of having them made. Currently we're looking at about $5 per figurine, so it'd be a little pointless to price them at or below cost XD though we'll see

actually we might get these cheaper, I'm looking at the wrong size :p A 6-8 inch figure is about $5 in PVC, so if we went with a three inch PVC it might be a lot cheaper than $5. We'll see!

These just don't have a real interest for me. Like other's the price seems a little steep to me (which I can understand why it's high, just saying). If this does go through I'm not sure about the idea of "random one in every box" seems like the best idea also. I can see that as an ordering option but if I decide to order 2 and I get the same two, that's gonna put me off a bit, plus with that it would be impossible to collect them all when the idea is to have them be collectable figurines. Just not for me. ~Korcha

I think this is a cool idea, but I'd mostly just get one to paint on Legion. P:

OMAI 3 inches is perfect sized because I have a huge collection of dog and pokemon figures I like to play wit- Imeanwhat. I'd really like to see a nature, robotic, and sunset melo. Maybe skeleton? 8D -Bee
