Melo Figurines

Pets

So, anyone who's been on the forums (specifically Aywas Talk) will have seen that I'm playing with the idea of getting melo figurines made. Why melos? Prototype development for figurines is very expensive, so we can only have one figurine at this time if we want one, and melos have the most colors and the most popularity. :)

Anyway, the figurines would be three inches, solid vinyl with that beautiful vinyl smell. They will be packaged in a box that gives you a random melo figurine of 10 different colors, so every box will be full of excitement. *flail*

Aside from that, there will be pure white melo figurines available for you to color on with markers, paint, etc and make your own customs. We can have monthly or bi-monthly "melo custom figurine" contests if enough people are interested in coloring white figurines for prizes. :)

Here are the colors we've tentatively chosen. I say tentatively in that you can give me suggestions for replacing out a color with another color, and if enough people agree it'll be done. :)

In closing, before any of this can happen (and I hope it can, man, I want a ton of these things all over my room and house... everywhere you turn--MELO!), there needs to be sufficient interest from the userbase. So, poll time! Keep in mind that USD buyers would be first, so if you CAN use USD (or any other PayPal supported currency, lol) pick that first before GP!

Melo figurines, around $7-$10 (and might be released for GP later)
I want one (or more) and I can pay USD!

I'm not interested in these

The trading cards are still on the list of cool ideas, but since they require so much custom art and templating, they might be be around for a while - just for anyone wondering!

Brand names order their figurines in HUGE bulk! We can't afford that kind of stuff. These are novelty figurines, not a huge corporation's!

I love this idea. However, as much as I like Melos, I'm gonna have to say no to the sugar skull as a figurine :C I'd love to see an Arctic Fox or a Golden Tiger though ^___^ I'll be sure to try and grab some of these when they come out.

I'd buy for $5 or a bulk discount, but $10? For three inches? That's what people pay for 9-12 inch action figures. D:

Love the idea for these! I like the colors chosen, though zombie's not my favorite. I'd totally buy if my parents ever allowed me to buy anything off the internet!

I think it would be interesting to include the Festive Melo simply because by the time these come out for sale it may be that time of year and they would make good presents. Also perhaps one of the natural looking Melos, Perhaps the Super Rare Tiger Melo found in the Fields? If you did one based off a real animal that may be endangered such as the tiger maybe the funds could be donated towards a program dedicated to saving them?

The price is really expensive, I'm thinking, but I like all the coloration choices except for the Vampire melo. Also, why not have a few more natural colorations? D8 Like the Red Panda or something? If you're only looking for Fantasy colors, why not the Bonfire Melo? Or Cherry Blossom Tiger instead of the Vampire?

I like the idea, but I won't vote because it would totally depend on postage costs to the uk.

I still think 10 bucks for a little 3 inch figurine is way out of my budget.. I wouldn't be able to afford these and still get/do the other things I wanna do. Nice idea, but.. yeah. ~Kirema
