A god of course. ;P
But it is a young god, a sleeping child, soon to awaken, just to annoy the daylights out of him and incessantly call him "Papa" while they continue on his adventure to wreak havoc and fun. Which turns into a sappy story of him eventually curbing his urge to dissect the little rascal and you get the picture. <3

He finds an Aywa that goes with the sword. Like, all gold and glowing and stuff, with a big ruby in its chest. So the sword melds with the Aywa's foreleg and it now has the power to change everything. Now he has to decide whether he wants to use this awesomicles Aywa for good...or for evil. (Fits with what Tak saw, too!) O_o

The power of the sword overwhelms him. He falls into an unconscious state. When he comes to he sees a dark shadow towering over him. Just who is this person and what has happened to the sword...

He finds a 'rare artifact.' But it's not a rare artifact at all. It's some malicious being disguised as a rare artifact in order to lure him in. :o When he gets close-- WHAM! Said malicious being steals the sword, and wrecks havoc.

Hmn what about if Earthslayer suddenly does something unexpected (glows, make a noise, or something) and when he looks around he finds another sword - and it looks very much like Earthslayer, but with subtle but distinct differences.
(And imagine, the second sword falls into the hands of a rival xP instant drama)

He found a necklace that will protect the owner from any harm whatso ever. Yes, I know he is a ghost, but all ghosts can be hurt in some ways that I will not try to explain.
Or he found a gold stash = to 1,000,000 BP.
