Tigerbird Finx
Many of you have heard talk of the other side of Ay. One of the pets that walks those unknown lands is the Finx. We might not be ready to release the other side of Ay yet, but we're going to be releasing the PSDs to these pets one by one to accept colorations for when the other side of the world goes live.
The Finx is a species whose colors should blend the designs of a mammal and a bird. That one up there isn't a good example because that was just Xero experimenting on melos and reves (it is purdy though), but good examples would be:
- Leopard Hawk
- Tiger Osprey
- Panda Eagle
And so forth.
The Tigerbird is indeed the first of the Finx species and will be the only Finx coloration released before the other side of Ay becomes accessible. You can thank Xero for that. Due to the rarity of these creatures, he'll be handing out ten of them of random genders. If you would like to take your chances getting one, post your favorite thing about the Finx species. Winners will be randomly selected from the entries (no double entries, one news comment per person, please).

I like the sleekness of them, they are very streamlined. They also have a slightly impish look, which is adorable.

Wow it's beautiful! My favourite thing about them is how cat-like they are. They look like winged cats and cats and feathers combine two of my favorite things! :D Plus I adore tigers so that just makes the Tigerbird Finx an instant win with me! ^_^

I love their eyes and anatomy. Plus finally we could make into real life our Warriors designs. ^^ The fact that they are closer to being cats is a big plus and the wings are just lovely.

I adore the ear whiskers.. I don't know why, they're just a really beautiful touch. Plus, the wings are so detailed and stunning, and big! It's actually believable that it could fly with them.
The smirk on it's face as well, that elegant, confident look.

My favorite thing would have to be the expression & overall feel of it. It looks sleek yet powerful. Slender yet muscular. A pet that you could seriously underestimate & that could cost you. The mysterious "cat that ate the canary" expression as if it knows something that you don't. It's GORGEOUS & congrats in advance to however gets one! And can't wait to see some of the colorations our talented arts come up with.

The inquisitive look makes me think of my kitty, Cleo who was put to sleep. She used to always get in trouble, and when you scolded her she acted like she hadn't done anything wrong.
