Tigerbird Finx
Many of you have heard talk of the other side of Ay. One of the pets that walks those unknown lands is the Finx. We might not be ready to release the other side of Ay yet, but we're going to be releasing the PSDs to these pets one by one to accept colorations for when the other side of the world goes live.
The Finx is a species whose colors should blend the designs of a mammal and a bird. That one up there isn't a good example because that was just Xero experimenting on melos and reves (it is purdy though), but good examples would be:
- Leopard Hawk
- Tiger Osprey
- Panda Eagle
And so forth.
The Tigerbird is indeed the first of the Finx species and will be the only Finx coloration released before the other side of Ay becomes accessible. You can thank Xero for that. Due to the rarity of these creatures, he'll be handing out ten of them of random genders. If you would like to take your chances getting one, post your favorite thing about the Finx species. Winners will be randomly selected from the entries (no double entries, one news comment per person, please).

I can't pick so much a favorite. I like the wings and the tail on it XD Those are my favorite things :)

I got agree with most of the other people that expression is so hilarious, reminds me of my cat. But the thing I love about the expression is the way it makes the eyes pop. It's one of the first things you notice. SO go Tak for making this awesome creature.

I think aside from the expression, my favorite part is the dainty little kitty paws. I can completely picture one of these guys, sitting there cleaning itself like a real feline with those paws. *nods*

I love the feathery wings and how they're colored and also love the ears. They remind me of fennec foxes. x3
I can't wait to explore the other side of Ay. 8D

Perhaps what I like best about the Finx is it the way it was modified into a little mixture of creatures. I've seen plenty of winged dogs and lizards (read: dragons) but cats are the rarity. It's nice to one again that actually has a good design to the point that the felinexavian seems more natural than fantasy.
