Hi folks,
How many of you are fluent in English and another language (or more)? I'm thinking of having the main Aywas site available in multiple languages to make it easier for international people to play the game, even if the forums are in English.
I might be able to offer you a job if you want to translate the site into your language ;)
BTW, for book giveaway winners, start watching your wishlist -- if an item vanishes form it, it means I bought it for you! Going to be working on that shortly.
EDIT- and amazon is erroring. Guess I'll try it tomorrow and see if it works.

Fluent in English and Spanish. Learned them when I was a kid.

I'm fluent in both English and German (my first language) - So I'd gladly offer myself as a translator! Having Aywas in multiple languages available would be so great. Just one question, though... What parts of the site would you have to like translated as for instance news posts come out nearly daily. And that'd require lots of translation to keep the translated parts of the site up to date.
Anyway, I'm really interested in the job. So if you plan to add German to Aywas, just send me a note to talk things out and send me the exact requirements.

I don't think this is really the best use of site resources. Yeah, it would be cool, but we're still a pretty small site and the amount of work that would go into translating everything into a second language (let alone more than that!) is mind-boggling.
I do think Vampi made a nice point about a foreign language forum section. Maybe do that and focus on fixing up the English content before considering something bigger.

sadly im only fluent in English i only know a few words and such of Polish, German, and Spanish :(. and thanks for the update on the book deal. good luck to all hope i could be one of the lucky ones. ^-^
