Site Update
Hi folks,
How many of you are fluent in English and another language (or more)? I'm thinking of having the main Aywas site available in multiple languages to make it easier for international people to play the game, even if the forums are in English.
I might be able to offer you a job if you want to translate the site into your language ;)
BTW, for book giveaway winners, start watching your wishlist -- if an item vanishes form it, it means I bought it for you! Going to be working on that shortly.
EDIT- and amazon is erroring. Guess I'll try it tomorrow and see if it works.

You should rather make translator teams. Put me into the Hungarian one.

Don't remember if I actually commented here. Hm. Oh well, if I didn't, fluent in swedish and english. I have an A in both subjects if that's worth anything.

Some people do have a point here. If the site was to be translated into multiple languages, some of those users may not be able to speak English. Therefore, having non-speaking English users there would have to be moderators able to speak that language to help them and moderate what they are saying. You never know if someone is swearing or not unless you know that language. I also saw someone suggesting different language boards in General chat. Yet again, there needs to be people moderating that.

Have to agree with cel&meg&ari.
Also I don't think that Aywas is that big of a community to be translated. English is a pretty universal language, and here in these comments you can see how many people have other languages as their first but they still frequent the site speaking English.
And I personally think that the only way to translate with success would be translating everything, including the boards (just like Neopets does.)

I am fluent in both Spanish and English. I wouldn't mind taking a job translating.

Could help out with Norwegian or Japanese if there's any need for that.

I'm fluent in english and Swedish (swedish is my first language), so might not be the most high priority language to translate to, but still... putting It out there! xD
