This kitty needs your help.
If you haven't read Springdragon's thread yet, his roommate slammed his kitty's tail into a door. Long story short, this cat is going to die unless they can afford the $600 vet bill to get the cat surgery.
Aywas is going to try and fundraise as much money as we can to help save this cat's life. To do this we are selling 12 Quetzals colored in the cat's colors (called Bane Quetzals, respectively, as the cat's name is Bane) for $50 each.
12/12 Quetzals have been reserved so far.
Because these Quetzals are going to be customs, they will not be obtainable in any other way but helping save this cat's life.
There will only be a maximum of 12 of these on the site. Ever. If you want to reserve a Bane Quetzal and help the kitty get the surgery, message me regarding the $50 donation.
If you'd like to donate money directly to Springdragon to help with the cost of the surgery, contact him directly. Click here to message Springdragon directly.
For every direct donation you send to Springdragon, you will get the equivalent in GP and a special Bane kitty item if the donation is $5 or over. (you get this item if you reserve a quetzal too)
Okay, according to my records the Quetzals have sold out. But you're welcome to donate for the kitty item to Springdragon to cover the morphine costs or any other costs associated with the kitty getting better.

And I do agree with you that it's wonderful that slash is doing a fundraiser for someone. I know it was hard for me and my mom when she took out a thousand dollars from my school funds to pay for my dog's surgery after my dad lost his job and he needed it to remove ten kidney stones and get the medicine he needs to keep them from coming back. It's just that everyone's falling on hard times now and are a bit more skeptical and frugal where they spend their money. I ask you to point out where I was being rude or accusing people of anything.

Erik: except springdragon never asked for money did they? S/he is not the first one to post a rant about something bad happening to their pet and money becoming an issue. It happens all the time on wajas, difference being slash decided to try and help. Digis has also done somethibg like this In the past. Either way it is somewhat callous. If you don't believe her/him then just.dont donate.

Slash, let me just say you're a huge sweetheart to do this for Springdragon. I'm hugely grateful that someone like you is in charge of Aywas. I've never seen any other site owner do something like this; you're officially awesome.
Even though I'm unable to donate, I hope Bane makes a full recovery, Springdragon. You and Bane are lucky to have someone like Slash and such a great community to help you. :)

I'm so sorry about your cat, Springdragon. My dog was just diagnosed with lymphoma, so I know exactly how it feels to be scared and worried about a pet's health right now. I'm afraid I can't afford to donate, since my savings will be going towards my dog's medical bills, but you have my best wishes. I hope Bane stabilizes and that the surgery is a success.

Lemon, that's just it; I WANT to believe and I WANT to donate, but I'm just hugely skeptical when it comes to spending money, as is my aunt, who I'd have to go talk to in order to donate. I can't even get a book off pay-pal without playing 20 questions and counting out the money down to the last cent. /: Whatever, I never wanted to create an argument and repeat myself again and again. I'd donate, but...I don't currently have the funds as I've had a myriad of problems occur with me in the past few months. I recently rescued a stray who was so skinny she was losing fur from malnurishment. Turned out she was also pregnant. 8D So now I have seven mouths to feed, neuter/spay, and get shots for. (Anyone in north or central FL want a kitten for Christmas? lol)
But next week I'll send something. :3 I know how tough it is.

I'm so glad everything has been bought now though. I just signed on and was about to freak out wanting to scrounge up any money I could when I'm dirt broke. I adore cats and got all upset but I'm glad everyone able helped and all the Quetzals were sold. That means the cat is going to be taken care of now right? <3

I'm not calling anyone a liar, though. Like I said; I'm just skeptical about things people say online. /: I know how she feels, we may not be able to afford my dog's x-rays without taking another good chunk of money out of my college fund. I would like to donate, but I'd need the proof to get my aunt to let me use her paypal and to set my mind at ease. If people want to donate, then they can, all the more power to them. I'm just asking politely for some sort of proof.
