This is a short newspost, so please be sure to check the one under this for Holiday related goodies!
Yasu coded for me a 60-day regen, so I'm using it for the purpose of making Lesser Breeding Pendants 60 day regen. I know people will be rather upset by this, but with several hundreds in circulation and the price of pendant slots still horribly devalued, this needs to be done to cut back. I mean, look at the queue...

This should not be as imbalanced. Pendants are supposed to be rare, so we're hoping this combats it. Think of it logically:
RBPS and MBPs are cheapest and pendants regen at 30 days.
LBPs are mid-grade in price and regen at 60 days.
BPs, EBPS, PBPs, and HBPs are the rarest, and are at a 90 day regen for this reason.
Please understand we do this to keep the balance in the system, and we really want to be fair on all accounts. This effectively means for the amount of LBCs people submit, a little over that amount comes around for free in the system. I hope this pans out eventually despite the obvious frustrations it will cause.
Now aside from this, spend those Candy Canes and Snowflakes and carry on merrily!

Yeah I support this 8| its bad that I regret purchasing my LBC when I could have just bought a pendant slot lol

Sylver, I wasn't abusing anything and I'm upset. o.0 I own one pendant on this site and it's a LBP I earned by getting high scores. That's a pretty rude assumption.

Does this mean that the EBP can now be on a 60 day regen too? The case was made a long time ago that EBP's fail rate and chance at entirely unbreedable offspring would've been better to have been set to a 60 day regen instead of the incredibly high 90 day regen. Back then it seemed like the main reason for the 90 day regen decision was that there hadn't been a 60 day regen coded at the time... and personally, 60 days would help slack off the EBP submissions BUT also counter for the fact that EBC's fail nearly as much as RBC's do. It'd seem a lot more "worthwhile" to have the regen on the EBP's reduced at least a little because of these factors.

Thanks, Frey. :) I agree with trading in LBPs for PBPs; if you guys go with that, go with whatever rate you guys think is fair (3 LBPs for 1 PBP, 5 LBPs for 1 PBP, etc...).

EBPs will not change to 60 day, no. And I don't know yet if we'll actually put into effect the 2/1 LBP to PBP deal yet, just stay tuned!
