Those dastardly pendants...

This is a short newspost, so please be sure to check the one under this for Holiday related goodies!

Yasu coded for me a 60-day regen, so I'm using it for the purpose of making Lesser Breeding Pendants 60 day regen. I know people will be rather upset by this, but with several hundreds in circulation and the price of pendant slots still horribly devalued, this needs to be done to cut back. I mean, look at the queue...

This should not be as imbalanced. Pendants are supposed to be rare, so we're hoping this combats it. Think of it logically:

RBPS and MBPs are cheapest and pendants regen at 30 days.

LBPs are mid-grade in price and regen at 60 days.

BPs, EBPS, PBPs, and HBPs are the rarest, and are at a 90 day regen for this reason.

Please understand we do this to keep the balance in the system, and we really want to be fair on all accounts. This effectively means for the amount of LBCs people submit, a little over that amount comes around for free in the system. I hope this pans out eventually despite the obvious frustrations it will cause.

Now aside from this, spend those Candy Canes and Snowflakes and carry on merrily!

I don't get it. People whine way too much about this change. Sure, I don't have an LBP, so some might say I don't have the right to comment on this, but it's ridiculous.

Life isn't fair. Things like this happen all the time everywhere. It's not cool, but there's no real use in complaining about it when it's done for the better good of the site and people who dedicate so much of their time to make it run smoothly.

It's not like you've lost your LBP completely. If that was the case, I'd understand the whining. With this change, you'll still be getting SIX breedings a year from your pendant.

You'll still earn the cost of the pendant back, it'll just take a little longer to do so. You should be happy that you even have a pendant. Tsh.

PS: I'm completely against LBP for PBP trade-in-deals. It'll just create a new problem.

I think the huge fit over one item changed, is because breeding and thus LBC/LBPs are one of the most important features of the site to the majority of the user.

Wow. I don't even own one and for people so say it's unfair. I mean, I can understand, but still? And for people to say it's not worth it WHAT THE HELL? Grow up, seriously. Not worth it, what's the matter with you? So many of us without these pendants would LOVE to have them. I'd wait 2 fricken months for a regen. It'd be hard, and I'm impatient, but I'd wait. Hell, I put breedings in for RBC's, knowing they might take forever, and...I don't care. It's worth the wait to me, so shame the hell on you people saying that a 60 day regen on a pendant isn't worth it.

Phoenix: They're not saying a 60 day wait to get a baby isn't worth it. They all wait longer than that for their babies already. They're saying that the item that said it would give 12 babies a year is now giving 6 babies a year, which is half of what was promised when they bought it. Sure you'd be grateful to have the half a lesser breeding pendant, as that's better than nothing, but having your lesser breeding pendant cut in half because the site - not you, the site - messed up is just not fair.
