This is a short newspost, so please be sure to check the one under this for Holiday related goodies!
Yasu coded for me a 60-day regen, so I'm using it for the purpose of making Lesser Breeding Pendants 60 day regen. I know people will be rather upset by this, but with several hundreds in circulation and the price of pendant slots still horribly devalued, this needs to be done to cut back. I mean, look at the queue...

This should not be as imbalanced. Pendants are supposed to be rare, so we're hoping this combats it. Think of it logically:
RBPS and MBPs are cheapest and pendants regen at 30 days.
LBPs are mid-grade in price and regen at 60 days.
BPs, EBPS, PBPs, and HBPs are the rarest, and are at a 90 day regen for this reason.
Please understand we do this to keep the balance in the system, and we really want to be fair on all accounts. This effectively means for the amount of LBCs people submit, a little over that amount comes around for free in the system. I hope this pans out eventually despite the obvious frustrations it will cause.
Now aside from this, spend those Candy Canes and Snowflakes and carry on merrily!

But wow that is a big queue, so I can see why your dong it.
Will this effect pendants that are set to regen or will the new regen time take over once they are used again?

We considered letting people trade in LBPs, 2 for 1 Platinum Pendant but... I don't really know other ways to get them out of the system. And we can't do much about prepaid slots on pendants, things are always subject to change. As for the regenerating items that aren't supposed to regen anymore, I think Eri or Slash will address that soon.

Makes sense. There really shouldn't be more pendant breedings in queue than LBC breedings. Though, I just know there's going to be an insane backlash. *gives Frey a war trench to protect themselves*

I'm with Swiftfire. I loved the idea of trading 3 LBPs for 1 PBP that someone brought up a while ago. But I don't really hate this newspost. It makes sense and all, maybe it'll even bring down the queue a bit. I know sometimes I submitted half-thought-out breedings just because one of my pendants regenerated. I'm just glad you didn't make it a 90 day regeneration! -chu

This means both my EBP and LBP have had their waits extended ... but I don't mind. Because I understand the reasoning for it, and I would like it very much if the queue could be cleaned out a bit.

Mmmm... why not do something to try to take LBPs out of the system?
